Director Biography - Michael McIntee

Michael McIntee is a former network TV news executive turned independent journalist. He helped found The UpTake, which did groundbreaking live online video news coverage in the 2008 political conventions, campaigns and recounts, and the 2010 uprising against Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker. This is his first feature documentary; it was inspired by The UpTake’s coverage of the debate over marriage equality.
