HOLE

After moving into a new apartment, a young woman discovers a hole in her living room wall and uses it to spy on the comings and goings of her neighbor. Lonely and isolated, she begins to lose touch with reality and descends into paranoia, her desire to reach out to the neighbor on the other side of the hole growing into an obsession.

Director Biography - QIAN ZHUANG

Qian Zhuang was born and raised in Shanghai, China. With her interests focused on the relationships between people and media, Qian studied communication and journalism, and has previously worked as assistant editor, production assistant and media content creator to the highly rated reality show, and production company in China. Later, Qian starts to find her strong interests in digging into the relationship between individuals in our society through storytelling. Qian recently finished her MFA program in UT Austin.
