This music video is based largely in aesthetic. When I heard the song, I knew how I wanted to stage it and the overall feeling and colors that I wanted to have. The film stock element adds to this by drawing attention to the camera and to the style, no artificial effects were added. The video only showcases what was captured in-camera. But to add an element of story to this video outside of the one Rosie speaks of in the song, I wanted to use Rosie's skills as an actor to tell the story non-verbally and act out her given circumstances. This spontaneous performance which highlights emotion over specifics is what I think rounds out the video's overall feel.
