HIGHFIVE FESTIVAL

The registration closes on JULY 16th at 11:59pm (CET) and before entering, please ensure you read the Rules and Terms below entirely and carefully. We usually cannot accept late film entries into competition due to the timing of our programming logistics. However, if you feel strongly that your project is a worthy candidate and that the final version of your film will be completed by September 15th, you may apply for a late entry and we will consider your application. PRIMARY INFORMATIONS

1) The guarantee that the movie will be screened as Premiere (World, Europe or French) and the Movie may not be available for free (youtube/facebook/…) before October 2nd. 


2) Language: Movies that are not in French need burned-in French subtitles or be dubbed in English. Subtitles must be part of the video image (srt. files required)

3) Deliver the best version of your movie at dates, as much footages as possible, to download or streaming with the submission (final Cinema screener to be delivered by Sept 15th). In order to help the jury to make their selection.

4) The Movie Length won’t extend 80min (In exceptional cases longer, personal contact required)


5) You will provide a Movie Synopsis to support your submissions to be clear and help to be selected by jury.

6) A commitment of main actor/athlete/director to attend the festival

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

1) PRE-SCREENERS FOR SELECTION:
Filmmakers are required to submit their most completed version or pre-edited content for pre-screening at the time of entry. If you are using a secured link, keep your submission updated with any changes.

2) FINALIST MASTERS:
If your film is selected, you will be required to provide a high-resolution master DCP format (cinema projector standards) + H264 Version for Jury Screening & Back Up via any transfer, platforms, drive, box… If you have any issues, please contact kevin@bugvisionaries.com

3) PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS
If your film is selected, you will be asked to provide the following promotional content by AUGUST 1st to be reproduced, published and/or exhibited for promotional purposes.
- Cover ART and Thumbnail (300dpi, ai, pdf, eps, psd)
- Production Logo and Movie Logo if you have one (300dpi, ai, pdf, eps, psd)
- 5 pictures that represent the essence of the movie

GRANT OF RIGHTS AND WAIVER
By entering the film competition, the Entrant represents and warrants that:

1) The Entrant hereby grants the HIGHFIVE FESTIVAL the rights to use the film as outlined in this entry form.

2) All music licenses including, without limitation, all synchronization, mechanical and master use licenses, as applicable, have been obtained and all required payments to all artists and to any applicable performing rights organization have been made that are required for the public performance of the music incorporated in the film.

3) No material in the film being submitted by the Entrant to the Festival is libelous or is slanderous or defamatory or violates any right of privacy or publicity of any person, and the full use of the rights in such film will not violate any rights, including copyright or moral rights, of any person, firm or corporation.

4) Participants agree that clips and images from their film or teaser may be used and/or published in "HIGH FIVE" program guide, on "HIGH FIVE" web site and for any promotional purposes which "HIGH FIVE" deems appropriate.

5) By submitting an entry, filmmaker states that he or she is responsible as an agent to promote the film and the film is an original work.

6) By entering the HIGH FIVE FESTIVAL, the entrant acknowledges and agrees to all entry Rules and Terms. By submitting your film you constitute your full and complete acceptance of the terms hereof and acknowledge that no oral representations of any kind have been made by the Festival.

Les inscriptions se terminent le 15 JUILLET à 23h59 (CET). Avant de participer, merci de lire entièrement et attentivement les règles et conditions ci-dessous.

En général, nous ne pouvons pas accepter les inscriptions tardives de films pour des raisons évidentes d’organisation et de programmation. Toutefois, si vous êtes convaincu que votre projet est digne d'intérêt et que la version finale de votre film sera terminée pour le 15 septembre au plus tard, vous pouvez demander une inscription tardive et nous examinerons votre demande. Écrivez alors un mail à kevin@bugvisionaries.com

INFORMATIONS PRINCIPALES

1) La garantie que le film sera projeté en Première (mondiale, européenne ou française) et que le film ne sera pas disponible gratuitement (youtube/facebook/...)

2) Langue : Les films qui ne sont pas en français doivent avoir des sous-titres français gravés ou être doublés en anglais. Les sous-titres doivent faire partie de l'image vidéo (fichiers srt. requis).

3) Avec l'inscription, livrez un film dans la meilleure qualité possible, (en téléchargement ou streaming) Afin d'aider le jury à faire sa sélection
(le projet final pour le cinéma doit être livré avant le 15 septembre).

4) La durée du film ne doit pas dépasse 80 minutes (dans les cas exceptionnels - plus longs - merci de nous contacter directement).


5) Fournir un synopsis clair du film avec l’inscription pour aider le jury à faire sa sélection.

6) Un engagement de l'acteur principal / athlète / réalisateur à participer au festival.

EXIGENCES TECHNIQUES

1) PRÉSÉLECTION POUR LA SÉLECTION :
Les cinéastes sont tenus de soumettre une version la plus achevée ou un contenu pré-monté pour une pré-sélection au moment de l'inscription.
Si vous utilisez un lien sécurisé, tenez à jour votre inscription en cas de changement.

2) PROJETS MASTERISÉS FINAUX :
Si votre film est sélectionné, vous devrez fournir un master haute résolution au format DCP (normes pour projecteurs de cinéma) + une version H264 pour le visionnage du Jury et en Back Up par le biais de tout transfert, plateformes, disque, boîte... En cas de problème, veuillez contacter kevin@bugvisionaries.com.

3) MATÉRIEL PROMOTIONNEL
Si votre film est sélectionné, il vous sera demandé de fournir, avant le 1er AOUT, le contenu promotionnel suivant pour être utilisé et/ou publié à des fins promotionnelles.
- Image de couverture et vignette (300dpi, ai, pdf, eps, psd)
- Logo de la production et logo du film, si vous en avez un (300dpi, ai, pdf, eps, psd)
- 5 photos qui représentent l'essence du film

CESSION DE DROITS ET RENONCIATION
En s'inscrivant au festival, le participant déclare et garantit que :

1) Le participant accorde au FESTIVAL HIGHFIVE les droits d'utilisation du film comme indiqué dans ce formulaire d'inscription.

2) Toutes les licences musicales sans limitation, (licences de synchronisation, licences mécaniques et licences d'utilisation principale, selon le cas) ont été obtenues légalement et tous les paiements requis auprès d’artistes ou toutes autres organisations de droits d'exécution applicable ont été effectués pour l'exécution publique de la musique utilisée dans le film.

3) Aucun élément du film soumis par le participant au Festival n'est diffamatoire ou calomnieux ou ne viole le droit à la vie privée ou à la publicité d'une personne, et l'utilisation complète des droits de ce film ne violera aucun droit, y compris les droits d'auteur ou les droits moraux, d'une personne, d'une entreprise ou d'une société.

4) Les participants acceptent que des clips et des images de leur film ou teaser soient utilisés et/ou publiés dans le guide du programme de "HIGH FIVE", sur le site web de "HIGH FIVE" et pour tout but promotionnel que "HIGH FIVE" juge approprié.

5) En soumettant une participation, le réalisateur déclare qu'il ou elle est responsable en tant qu'agent pour promouvoir le film et que le film est une œuvre originale.

6) En s'inscrivant au High Five Festival, le participant reconnaît et accepte toutes les règles et conditions d'inscription. En soumettant votre film, vous acceptez tous les termes énumérés et reconnaissez qu'aucune représentation orale d'aucune sorte n'a été faite par le Festival.
