Director Biography - Luke Bruehlman

Luke Bruehlman is a writer, filmmaker, and photographer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated with special recognition from the Film Studies program at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2007, and has worked on productions as diverse as "The Dark Knight Rises," "Banshee," "Farm Kings," and stage shows "Viva Los Bastarditos!" and "Evil Dead: The Musical." "As It Is In Heaven" is his directorial debut. He is also a pretty good musician, and will totally serenade you on his uke if you ask nicely.

I love to travel, I love public speaking, I love watching movies with strangers. If you enjoy this black comedy of mine enough to include it in your program, you can expect me in attendance!
