2016 in the Sky

In 2015 I bought my first drone and learnt how to fly it (the hard way some times).

In 2016, I quit my job and went to Australia to start a new life.
While packing I sold my drone, thinking it was too much trouble to carry my Phantom 2 around in a backpack.

As soon as I touched ground down under I knew I made a mistake. I started travelling around and got sick not to be able to capture something that no one had yet filmed from above, I was in Western Australia and it was so beautiful, and I was drone less...

As I started working in Queensland as a Jackaroo/cow boy, working in a surreal place, I had enough being frustrated and I spent my first months salary in a drone.

Since then I accumulated more than 25 hours of fly time, did more than 200 flights and flew 350 Km ! (the app says)

This edit sums up my journey across Australia and more especially wonderful Queensland. I've learned so much in flying skills but also in cinematography. Indeed you must be very cautious with your camera move and understand how your drone moves to get that one shot.

I very recently got a set of PolarPro ND Polarizing filters. The few flights I've done have given amazing results, I'm rediscovering the drone camera, can't wait to show you !
