grydscaen: scout eve animated web series Episode 1 based on Chapter 1 of volume 1 of the grydscaen: psycho dive manga.

In this episode Packrat Hacker Faid Callen sends teen hacker ROM whose name means "Read Only Memory" to investigate on the gridscan (network of everything) the disappearance of homeless teens in the Echelons slums. Volume 1 of the "grydscaen: psycho dive" manga is adapted from the award-winning novel grydscaen: dark about hackers attacking the stock market and destroying the economy and the sequel grydscaen: scout about a pandemic that ravages the world. Both of these books were written in 2017 well before events of 2020 and 2021 occurred. The manga English language version is out now with French and Japanese translations by Natusya available in ebook for release in 2022.

Director Biography - Natsuya Uesugi DuBois

Natsuya Uesugi is a Fortune 500 Cybersecurity Anayst, UX Designer, Software Engineer and former White Hat Hacker as well as an Award-Winning Published Author and Indie Manga Artist with a BA degree in English, MBA in International Management, with an art school and music school background. With a certificate in Social Engineering, Natsuya writes articles and blogs on Net Neutrality, Privacy, Cybersecurity, Cyberbullying related to the profound impact of technology on society.
