Second Place
My name is Samantha Armiger and I am a recent graduate of Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. I was born and raised in San Jose, CA after a brief stint in Fleet, England. I am a student of dance, music, and art - all of which influence my creative approaches. When I’m not creating, you can find me petting a dachshund, eating cheese while hip hop dancing or avoiding stairs.
This project began after driving past a mobile pet grooming trailer in the suburbs of Orange, California. In combining my love of dogs with a tension building narrative, I was able to spend the past year and half working on a true passion project. I hope this gives pet owners a little insight into what their furry friends might possibly be thinking when their grooming appointment arrives.
