Grey Future
The concept that elephants & rhinos could become extinct in one’s lifetime is a shocking statement and one that is hard to comprehend; Grey Future is a dramatisation of just that. Following the life of an
artist protagonist, this film spans into the future, showing us the headlines we hope never to see, and the damaged planet we leave
for our next generation. Grey Future’s glimpse into the future hopes
to emotively inspire action against our current poaching crisis; by reminding us of our own romantic connection with these animals in
the Western World. Artwork featured in this film was drawn by
children from ‘Tujatane’ School in Zambia, allowing the film to unite youth from two very different ends of the globe.
