The Carpathian mountains are the birthplace of the ancient Hutsul people, legends about magical molfars were born here and many great films were shot on these sacred lands of Ukraine. The creation of the film festival is a huge contribution to the development of the culture of this region. Our mission is to attract the attention of the world community to the problem of preserving the cultural heritage of the ancient people of the Hutsuls.

Rules & Terms

RULES AND GUIDELINES FOR 2022 SUBMISSIONS

1. Films can be from anywhere in the world.

2. Films must have subtitles in English.

3. Any project may participate, no matter when or where it is created.

4. The filmmaker has cleared all the rights for their film. Ukrainian Dream Film Festival isn`t the right holder of the films nor responsible towards any claims that arise regarding copyrights.

5. Ukrainian Dream Film Festival has the right to use a trailer, stills and a poster from the films for promotional purposes.

6. All decisions regarding award winners are considered final and incontestable. We reserve the right not to give a winner in any of the categories.
