Ghent in 2 minutes
We would like to present Ghent in Motion, the most epic movie made about the Belgian city of Ghent.
During one year a team of audiovisual professionals shot footage in and around the city, with the sole purpose to catch the everyday city vibe and turn the images into a long tranche de vie.
Ghent in Motion is not only a narrative story about life, death and all stages in-between; it is also a grasping – and sometimes moving – time document about life as we know it today.
Ghent in Motion is a crowdfunded project. In order to produce the movie we asked the Ghent entrepreneurs, shop-owners, restaurants, pubs, ... and all citizens of Ghent if they would inject Ghent in Motion with the necessary financial input. They did, en masse.
The result is a 50’ movie, highlighting our city’s gems, it’s people and it’s spirit. "Ghent in 2 minutes" is a 2’ re-edit of "Ghent in Motion".
We hope you enjoy it,
