The Gates of Lahore
Many cities around the world have their own past but as the city enters the contemporary world, the story of the past becomes history. The inhabitants of the city are well aware of the past but choose to forget it instead.
The ancient Lahore still exists in the city which is now referred to as The Walled City or as the locals call it Androon Shehr. The gates of the city of the past still reside in this era but what is the history of these gates and how the people of this contemporary world for access to the ancient city still use these Ancient Doorways?

Mohsin Jilani Mohsin, Here. Photography and filmmaking are my profession and art. My interest is filmmaking, photography and travelling, however, I prefer to stay active therefore I enjoy biking, riding, reading, photography, watching movies, listening to music. Mostly, I like experimenting with my hobbies in an attempt to do as much as possible in a lifetime. I aspire to become a journalist, one that will be heard around the world and I wish to make this dream a reality.
