To know oneself is to study oneself in action with another person
Gaoyang Ganjin (21) is a Los Angeles-based filmmaker, landscape photographer, and saxophonist studying Film & TV Production at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, Class of 2024. Born in China, raised in Singapore, and eventually moving to the U.S. as a young teen, Ganjin’s international perspective greatly informed his affinity for capturing the world’s natural beauty, honing the stark and ethereal aesthetic of his photography. Ganjin’s photography has been featured in the Nature’s Vision Expo, Photographers Forum, and the National Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Born Under Punches, Ganjin’s debut short film, is now entering the US festival circuit for 2022.
