Welcome to the Filmmakers United International Film Festival (FUIFF) - FUIFF AWARDS 2024 - an IMDb Qualified Festival.
Our festival is dedicated to promoting positive change on a global scale, addressing important issues such as climate change, human and animal rights, and social and cultural matters. We believe in the power of film to raise awareness and inspire action.
At FUIFF, our mission is to provide independent filmmakers with a platform to showcase their work and gain recognition. We understand the importance of creative freedom and aim to support filmmakers in expressing their unique visions without the constraints of commercial demands.
Our objective is to assist independent filmmakers in overcoming obstacles and reaching their full potential. Through our comprehensive review process, networking opportunities, and marketing support, we strive to empower filmmakers and help them navigate the industry.
To ensure a seamless selection process and provide timely feedback, we run a monthly edition of our festival. Filmmakers will be notified promptly if their work is selected, and our team of industry experts will evaluate and review their films on a regular basis.
We value the individuality of each entry and prioritize the impact and message of the film or documentary. FUIFF aims to foster a strong global network of filmmakers, producers, and distributors, facilitating collaboration and opportunities for growth.
We are excited to witness the creativity and talent showcased in your films.
In our 2024 Annual Awards, the prestigious FUIFF Golden Elephant will be awarded to the top film. Winners attending the festival in person will receive FUIFF award certificates, and online winners can request digital certificates and laurels free of charge.
Please note that FUIFF entry fees are non-refundable. We maintain a family-friendly environment and do not accept films with nudity or unnecessary profanity. Films can be of various genres, including short and feature films, narrative fiction, documentary non-fiction, experimental, or animation.
Multiple entries are allowed, and each entry can be submitted to multiple categories. Please provide information about previous festivals and any awards received.
Film copies should be submitted in .mp4 format, with a resolution of 1920x1080 px and a bitrate between 10,000 and 25,000 kb/sec for live and online screenings. All non-English dialogue must have burned-in subtitles.
Download availability is required for selected films and trailers. Additionally, a press kit in Word format, including a synopsis, full credits, high-definition film stills, and the director's bio with a headshot, must be provided.
Permission for Image/Video/Audio Submission:
By participating in the festival, all participants agree that any photographs, recordings, or broadcasts of their involvement become the property of FUIFF for future promotional purposes. This includes the use, rebroadcast, publication, distribution, or reproduction of fragments of their projects. Participants also consent to the recording by television and media partners covering the festival.
We conduct both live and online screenings of officially selected films. While not all selected films may have the opportunity to be screened to a live audience, we will notify filmmakers one month in advance if their film will be screened. Additionally, selected projects may receive invitations to screen in various sectors, such as healthcare, government agencies, schools, colleges, and educational centers.
All officially selected projects will receive shoutouts on our social media platforms. Once officially selected, filmmakers can tag themselves on IMDb for added exposure.
We carefully select outstanding projects and offer distribution opportunities through our Film Market. There is no fee for this service, but a commission will be deducted from after-sales if your film achieves success.
In the final stages, we conduct interviews with award-winning filmmakers to promote their projects and provide insights into their creative process.
If your film meets our and our partner distributors' requirements, we will work towards securing the best distribution deal for you.
