Welcome to the 5th Annual, Franklin International Indie Film Festival (FIIFF) PLEASE NOTE OUR EVENT details could change only DUE TO COVID.
FESTIVAL DATES ARE November 9-14, 2021.
FIIFF is located in Franklin, Tennessee, a unique, historic town in the greater Nashville metropolitan area. Filmmakers and celebrities alike will enjoy the ambiance, fraternity, and social experience that comes with FIIFF with films screening at an historic landmark, a short 17 miles from downtown Nashville.
Some of the events will be held outdoors observing Social Distancing requirements and we recommend the wearing of masks when joining our festival inside the Mockingbird Theater.
There will be nightly entertainment. We are part of the Music City experience, after all. Our industry panels will be inspiring; presented with great confidence and include international participation. There will be an opening night feature film and red carpet event free to our filmmakers.!
Franklin’s historic downtown is definitely where everything happens from celebrated music venues like Kimbro’s Pickin Parlor to awesome local restaurants and bars.
Our state, number seven in the nation in film l/media/entertainment industry jobs and Franklin/Williamson County is definitely worth a visit to see what & where the opportunities are. Whether attending the festival with your latest film or planning your next film project, we will introduce you to the filmmakers, film workers, and an enthusiastic audience members to Franklin/Williamson County where anything is possible and cultural arts are a priority.
Our festival staff is well trained and highly motivated, our filmmakers and film workers are here to welcome you, and our community is ready to celebrate your work. The competition is open to U.S. and International entries.

Note: Student Films "runtime" will be under 30 minutes.
Short Films "runtime" will be under 40 minutes. Special permission can be requested.
Our Film Industry panels in the past have included: Write your best story, Tips & Trade Secrets, Producing After Covid, Music Composing & Licensing and Unique Festival perspective for creative success. in 2021 we will hold three panel/discussions. Financing and. incentives on Wednesday November 10, then GET A GRIP and THE FEMALE GAZE on Saturday, November 13. Check you program and then come out and join us. Thank you.

Best Narrative Feature
Best Documentary Feature
Best Documentary Short (39 minutes or less)
Best Short Film (39 minutes or less)

Best Inspirational or Purpose Film

By entering the 2021 Franklin International Indie Film Festival (FIIFF) competition you agree to the following conditions:
Entrants must be 18 years or over or include verifiable permission from parent or guardian
FIIFF 2021 Competition is open to residents of the United States and all countries unless otherwise stated.
Competition is not available to FIIFF staff or their immediate families
Entries are generally limited to one per filmmaker unless they are individual episodes of a web series and will be accepted for adjutication at the 39 minutte length.
Each entry must be accompanied by the required entry/submission fee.
End date is specified on individual competition.
FIIFF reserves the right to amend the end date at any time.
By entering the FIIFF competition, the winner agrees to participate in promotional activity where required.
Award certificates or prizes are non transferrable to another person
Travel/per diem expenses are NOT included for FIIFF 2021 though we hope in future years to help defray expenses incurred with attending our event
If the advertised prize becomes unavailable, FIIFF reserves the right to offer and This festival competition is managed and directed by FIIFF & Tennessee Women in Film & Media and sposored by the Williamson County Cultural Arts Commission.
By submitting your project to FIIFF 2021 you agree to be contacted for promotional purposes.
No personal data will be shared with third parties unless stated otherwise.
FIIFF reserves the right to amend the competitions at any time.
Notifications will be sent in a timely manner after conclusion of FIIFF 2021.
Entrant agrees to submit entries that are her/his own original work. Competition entrant must not violate, plagiarize, or infringe any copyright, trade mark, trade secrets, privacy and publicity, personal or proprietary rights. All music and score must be original or cleared.
When "Entrant" submits a project, they agree to allow FIIFF to use the material in a reasonable way on a fee-free basis in any media throughout the world.
Any copyright in the contribution will remain with the Entrant and this permission is not exclusive, including the entrant allowing another to use it.
