Fragments
"Such are two ways of the Photograph. The choice is mine: to subject its spectacle to the civilized code of perfect illusions, or to confront in it the wakening of intractable reality."
Fragments by Martina Morrone and Chiara Graziani is a love declaration to photography, which deliberately chooses to immortalize the "perfect illusion" of the world around us.
Full of dreamlike atmospheres, the short film highlights the subjective vision of the protagonist's reality through the use of a camera that does not exist, if not in her thought.
But how much of what we see, perceive, really exists except in the mind of the beholder?

Making films allows me to lose myself and find people I have lost, to surprise and surprise myself. Here there is all the real that in reality we can not and do not want to see.
- Martina Morrone
I like to evoke, through the cinema, feelings linked to melancholy and nostalgia for the past. Fascinated by the passing of time, I chase everything that runs away.
