Tuca Paoli started her career in São Paulo on television, directing several programs for young audiences at MTV. She did contemporary arts' correspondence in London for TV Cultura, and has directed documentaries about music.
Her first (fiction) short film 'Amadores' featured on many festivals such as 'Short Film Corner Cannes', 'Lakino Film Festival Berlin', 'São Paulo International Film Festival', 'Washington DC Short Film Festival', and 'Short Shots Tokyo'.
