The 10th annual Oak Cliff Film Festival is a general-interest festival whose aim is to screen high-caliber work of all types of genres and styles from all over the world. For examples of our past programs, please visit our website (oakclifffilmfestival.com). Any other questions can be sent to our submissions inbox (submissions@filmoakcliff.com).

Our current plan is to hold the 2021 edition of OCFF mostly in person at limited capacities. If public health guidelines around COVID-19 change, we may modify the program to a mostly virtual program. We plan to keep accepted filmmakers updated on changes as they happen.

Stronger consideration is given to films that have NOT had significant prior exposure in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, particularly in the case of feature-length projects.

When submitting online screeners, please submit a Vimeo link and password that will remain active and unchanged through May 2021. Failure to submit a link that our programmers can access throughout our screening process may be grounds for rejection.

The Oak Cliff Film Festival will not return entries or refund entry fees.

It is by far the dream circumstances to screen your film in terms of them actually helming screenings at tangible physical prestigious theatres all over Dallas Texas such as The Kessler or Texas Theatre. Its a true theatre going experience as the medium was meant to be viewed and im eternally grateful for the experience.

  • Incredible festival! Very well run. I wish I took more time to see more films, it can be easy to get sucked up into the social festivities throughout the weekend. However, that was a great part of this festival and I met so many amazing people! Can't wait to attend again. Thank you OCFF for your selection!

Oak Cliff Film Festival was one of the best film festivals I've been to. It was amazingly organized, many incentives for filmmakers, events was great, and each screening was fantastic. They not only spent time on the event planning but on the actual screenings themselves. Each film was well marketed and the venues were great for every film. One of our best screenings for sure. I would HIGHLY recommend applying to Oak Cliff. You want this type of experience at a film festival as well as this type of care for your film!

Oak Cliff is AMAZING! They really care about their filmmakers and made us feel welcome. They found a place for us to stay, organized our airport pick up and drop off, and provided free rides around town. Their filmmaker lounge was awesome and included an open bar! How many festivals do that? We met tons of great filmmakers and had the best time in the town. We will absolutely be submitting here with every film!
