The FilmmakerLife Awards is a highly esteemed film competition that celebrates and recognizes the outstanding achievements of filmmakers from around the world. It is regarded as one of the most prestigious platforms for filmmakers to showcase their talent, creativity, and storytelling abilities.

One of the distinguishing features of The FilmmakerLife Awards is its emphasis on the journey of filmmakers. It recognizes not only the final product but also the entire process behind the creation of a film. Filmmakers are encouraged to submit their works along with a director’s statement, which delves into the inspirations, challenges, and personal experiences that shaped their artistic vision.

Welcome to the FilmmakerLife Awards, a festival held in the major city of our industry season. This is a festival for international artists. We accept films from all over the world, from emerging filmmakers and international ones. The main criterion for participating in the festival is artistic criteria and merits. Considering FilmmakerLife´s tremendous importance in the American cinematic environment and our professional platform, we hope to provide a suitable environment for the introduction of short films and feature films.

The Festival's Jury composed of international members from the film industry and from different nationalities and cultures, involved in the music industry and other artistic & cultural fields, who have no relation to the films in competition, will award in each category the best films through private screenings.

All Official Selections, Semi-Finalists, Finalists, Nominees & Winners will receive Official Laurels. All Finalists, Nominees & Winners will be listed on our website and on our social networks.

Monthly award winners will also receive a digital Official Certificate and may upload their credits/data within the Trivia section on IMDb.
Occasionally, projects of noteworthy significance may also be bestowed with AWARDS of MERIT
*Some of the Best Films will be chosen by the Committee to be screened during The World Class Film Awards 2023. Filmmakers included in the screening are notified 4 weeks prior to the event. DCP and Spanish subtitles are required at this point.*
