THIS SEASON CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19

For several months the planning committee and sponsors for the event have attempted to see this season of the festival through to conclusion. However, the pandemic has severely hampered our efforts to complete the judging processing.

We will bring back the Nanocon International Film Festival as soon as the pandemic has stabilized.

==========================================================

Unlike those characters in your favorite films, who, upon hearing a sound at the door, decide to unleash the Zombie Apocalypse. In the wake of the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus in Washington State, the NanoCon Team made the decision to put safety before fun.

The NanoCon International Film Festival (NIFF) has been postponed to Friday, September 25, 2020 and will take through an online, ticketed event.

The annual festival, now in its fifth season, is accepting submissions of short-subject films from all over the world.

Winning entries from this year's festival will premiere during two red-carpet events at the Wallenberg Auditorium, in the Rose Center for the Performing Arts, at Lower Columbia College.

The Premier Red-Carpet Opening of NIFF will be on Friday, September 25, 2020. Formal attire is preferred.

    We were notified that we were a Winner at this festival and then never heard back despite follow-up emails. Seems extremely disorganized. If the winning films aren't communicated with, I can't imagine how poor the experience must be for official selection. We can't even tell if the festival has taken place or not.
