Cinema Royale: Paris Edition is a festival inspired by the heart of world cinema.

In the heart of Paris, where the air is permeated with history, art and inspiration, a festival is born that has absorbed the spirit of world cinema - Cinema Royale: Paris Edition. This is not just a film forum. It is an ode to cinema as a language of human emotions, searches and discoveries. This is a stage where dreams and reality meet, where each work is an invitation to look deeper, to hear the silence between words and to see the world through someone else's eyes.

Cinema Royale is a space for dialogue, for daring debuts and mature masterpieces, for stories that make the heart skip a beat and those that remain in the memory forever. We collect films and scripts from all over the world to weave a living, pulsating canvas of cultures, views, languages and rhythms. In this mosaic, Paris becomes more than just a geographical point - it turns into a symbol of unification, creative freedom and boundless passion for cinema.

Here, every name has a chance to be heard, every frame - to be seen, every idea - to be recognized. In this atmosphere - elegant, exciting, genuine - true art is born, capable of changing hearts and inspiring generations. The festival lives online and in reality, in the silence of the hall and in the rustle of script pages, in the frames that shine on the screen and in the thoughts that remain after the final credits.

Cinema Royale: Paris Edition is a bridge between worlds. It is not just a festival, it is a feeling. The feeling that cinema is still a royal art, and it belongs to those who know how to tell stories that are impossible to forget.

These rules have been developed to ensure fairness, transparency and equal opportunities for all participants from all over the world. We strive to create a professional and inspiring platform where each work is assessed with respect and attention. Participation in the festival means that you agree to the terms and conditions set out below.

Selection and jury
1. Selection stage
All works submitted to the festival undergo a two-stage evaluation system:
🔹 Stage I — Preliminary selection (Selection Committee)
• The works are reviewed by the festival's internal team of selectors, consisting of professionals in the field of cinema: directors, screenwriters, film critics, curators and producers.
• The selection is carried out blindly, without taking into account the author's name, in order to avoid bias.
• Each work is evaluated by at least two independent experts.
• At this stage, works that do not meet the technical and creative standards of the festival are eliminated.
Works that pass Stage I receive the status of Official Selection and proceed to the main competition.

2. Final stage — International Jury
🔹 Stage II — Competition Jury (Grand Jury Panel)
• The jury includes international figures from the film industry: renowned directors, screenwriters, film composers, actors, film critics and festival curators.
• Each jury member evaluates the works according to their own professional specialization.
• The jury is renewed every season and includes both renowned masters and fresh voices of contemporary cinema.

3. Jury principles
• The jury works independently from the festival organizing committee.
• The jury's decisions are final and not subject to revision.
• The festival reserves the right to award special mentions, experimental awards or to divide the prize between the participants if the artistic situation so requires.

Thank you, Cinema Royale: Paris Edition, for selecting my AI film PEPE — BE YOURSELF as an Official Selection.

This recognition means a lot to me as an AI filmmaker from Indonesia. PEPE — BE YOURSELF is a personal and meaningful story about identity, confidence, and the courage to be yourself.

I truly appreciate the festival’s support for experimental short films, independent filmmakers, and new forms of creative storytelling through AI cinema.

It is an honor to share my work with an international audience in Paris.

Thank you to the festival team, juries, and everyone supporting this journey.
