RULES & TERMS
OMNI International AI Film Festival showcases the future of AI-driven cinema. By participating in the festival, attending, or submitting a film, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Film Submission & Competition Rules:
OMNI may showcase the selected films in up to ten public screenings.
Award Selection does not guarantee inclusion in Public screenings.
OMNI TEAM and Jury reserve the right to reject films that are deemed or appear as copyright infringing.

• AIGC, AI-Generated Content: Primarily AI-generated sound and/or visual content required. All video tools, generative engines, MUST be listed on your submission form or in the credits.

• Music Rights -Filmmakers must own or license the music. All samples/stems must be properly licensed.

• Editing & Sound: Manual edits, cuts, dubbing, foley, and music are allowed.
• Professional VFX is allowed but must be called out in the submission entry.
• Seed Media: Original images/videos may be used, but must be disclosed and provided if requested.
• Live-action: Live-action plates allowed .
• Copyrighted Media: Any copyrighted media included in your film must be clearly called out in the submission. Any copyrighted audio or video content that has not been approved by rightsholders will be grounds for disqualification.
Content Guidelines:
• Any content or submission deemed inappropriate or unacceptable may be rejected at the jury’s sole discretion.
• Content must not exceed PG-13 level content (no explicit material).
• Violence must be handled tastefully and within PG-13 guidelines (subject to jury discretion).
• Promotional Use: By entering into or submitting your film, you grant OMNI and it’s presenting partners permission to use of up to three (3), 10-second clips of each work for promotional purposes, such as social media and film festival trailers.
• All video tools, generative engines, MUST be listed on your submission form or in the credits.
The OMNI AI Film Festival is international with applications accepted from around the world - the focus is on growing long-form, narrative-based stories, and judging criteria will celebrate storytelling and quality imagery.

Judging:
• All Films will be reviewed by an independent Jury.
• All decisions made by the jury are final.
• Jury and Production team have final rights to not screen content that is deemed inappropriate, offensive or outside of the categories, rating, and scope of the festival.
Copyright & Usage
• By submitting your work to the OMNI Film Festival you are asserting your creative rights and contributions as a creator, editor, prompter, coder, assembler and filmmaker. Films must be the creative work of the submittor.
• Filming or recording of festival screenings by visitors is strictly prohibited.
• OMNI and it's staff reserves the right to up to ten public screenings of submitted content(with notification) and to use submitted films for promotional purposes at no licensing cost nor screening fee.
• By applying, you are granting OMNI and its team the ability to use your submission for use in promotional content such as trailers and advertisements. This includes any accolades or awards you have received to help promote your entry in OMNI and the overall festival.
Liability & Changes
OMNI is not responsible for any event, screening or festival cancellations or changes to the festival program.
OMNI is not responsible for any copyright claims on individual works or related damages of any kind.
All attendees and participants accept that event details may change without prior notice, of course, we will do our best to let everyone know of any changes.
OMNI, SAISFF, Radiance Asia, corporate sponsors, and all other affiliated organizations are not responsible for content submitted by entrants regardless of territory or locality. All entries should comply with local laws. Any content that is deemed inappropriate or has legal issues is the responsibility of the entrant.
By submitting a film you confirm that you have or hold the creative rights to show or share the submitted film content. By submitting or attending, you acknowledge and agree to the above terms.
