At our 2026 event we will screen more than 50 films from local, national, and international filmmakers, as well as hosting networking events on our opening and closing nights. We give special attention to first and second time directors, and films finding creative ways to compensate for low budgets.

The 2026 Chicago Short Film Festival will be hosted at the historic Facets Cinema in Chicago, Dec 4-5. Facets Cinema is one of the longest running and few remaining independent cinemas in Chicago. Join us for our inaugural festival!
