The Faming Puma Film Festival was created to bring together filmmakers and audiences in a celebration of independent films. Films are shown followed by Q&A sessions with directors and producers. The festival is committed to bringing the best local films from across New Hampshire to the screen as well as welcoming films from across the country and around the world. We are endeavoring to put together an event which can be celebrated by producers and fans alike. We wish to showcase the works of our filmmakers, actors and crews. We know it takes many hands to put a successful film together and we want to give many new films the opportunity to be seen and experienced.

$100 cash prize for Best in Fest
Additional non-cash awards for best feature, best documentary and best short.

Rules & Terms

1.Application of a film does not guarantee acceptance
2.We encourage directors, cast and crew to attend with their families. Q&A sessions are available after each film.
3.Accepted directors will receive 4 tickets to the festival. Additional tickets may be purchased at $10 each.
4.All films submitted will be prescreened
5.The schedule of films, days and times will be determined upon acceptance of all films.
6.Due to high shipping costs, submissions will not be returned by mail but may be picked up at the festival
7.If accepted, films must be submitted on DVD or BluRay. Links to youtube or online films will also be permitted for initial submission, but we need a hard copy for the actual festival..
8.Decisions on submissions are final. We will notify you within approximately one week of receipt of your submission whether or not your film is accepted and will be screened on April 30.
