Audience Award Winners (Best Short & Best Feature)

Our preference is online submissions.

The CINEFEST LATINO BOSTON Selection Committee will choose the films to be screened at this year's festival. The committee will look for innovative works that are by or about the U.S. Latino community, Latin America and Spain. They must have been produced between 2023 and 2026.

All entries will be pre-screened for eligibility by the Selection Committee; however, not all entries will be programmed. If your work is selected, you will be notified no later than August 3, 2026 to send the film in its original format.

Films must be postmarked by the submission deadline date.

All fees are nonrefundable.

To enter your film, please submit each of the following:

1. Completed Submission Form
2. One copy of your film in one of the accepted formats
3. Brief synopsis (40 words) in English or Spanish. Any synopsis in Spanish should also have an English translation.
4. Biography information (director, producer, actors, or writer)
5. Press kit and/or still photos (300 dpi if submitted electronically)
6. Entry Fee (student submissions must provide proof of academic status or else will be disqualified)

Due to the large number of submissions, the Festival cannot return any submission materials that are submitted with your entry form.

Participants are responsible for paying their own shipping costs, if applicable.

NOTE: ALL PIECES IN SPANISH OR PORTUGUESE MUST HAVE ENGLISH SUBTITLES.

**Please note that some short films may be considered for our kickoff community screening, held one week before the official start of the festival. If you prefer not to have your film considered for this screening, please let us know by email.

CineFest Latino Boston is truly an outstanding festival and has quickly become one of my favorites. As a filmmaker navigating the festival circuit, I felt warmly welcomed by both the festival and its vibrant community. My filmmaker host was amazing, making me feel right at home and connecting me with the local filmmaking scene.
I was impressed by the excellent communication from the festival organizers, whose hospitality was exceptional, friendly and accommodating, which added to the welcoming atmosphere. I had the opportunity to meet some incredibly talented Latino fellow filmmakers, and even another Peruvian filmmaker like myself, and we quickly bonded during festival gatherings. The quality of the films showcased was remarkable, with so many excellent selections to enjoy. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, which added to the welcoming atmosphere.
Thank You CineFest Latino Boston! I love you!
