FilAm Creative Film Festival (FACFF) is designed to be more than a screening – it’s a creative hub. FACFF brings together directors, writers, producers, actors, creatives, Hollywood executives, and industry allies for meaningful conversations, filmmaker Q&As after the screenings, industry educational panels, and networking opportunities.

Presented by FilAm Creative (FAC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2010. Its mission is to educate and advocate for the Filipino-American entertainment community and all who are looking for a collaborative workspace in order to achieve greater representation and career advancement.

Sixteen (16) years later, FAC stands strong with year-round programming, including FAC’s largest annual event, FACFF. In a world where diverse narratives, particularly those of Filipino origin, are often overlooked, the founders dreamed of creating a space for telling untold stories and amplifying underrepresented creative voices. The 4th Annual FACFF is September 25-27, 2026, in Los Angeles.

You do not have to be Filipino to join. All are welcome. We believe that storytelling is most impactful when done in an inclusive and collaborative environment. The competition rules and regulations are below.

So proud to call this my first ever film festival! An incredible festival led by an amazing group of people who really care about showcasing and uplifting Filipino voices. Will forever be grateful to have met so many amazing Filipino artists who truly welcomed me like a family, even though I was very much a newcomer. Can't wait for the next one!

Thanks so much to the FilAm Creative Film Festival for screening my short film "How Much Filipino." Communication from this festival has been amazing from start to finish. My only regret is that I could not attend in person. From the photos, it looked like a wonderful event. Thanks again.

  • I’m deeply grateful to FilAm Creative for including my film Augmented in this year’s festival. It’s an honor to have my work shown alongside films that reflect the Filipino American community in all its richness and diversity.

What meant the most to me was their commitment to elevating a wide range of underrepresented voices, and for taking a chance on an experimental horror film like mine. Not every festival is willing to make bold programming choices, but they did—and that’s how new visions and conversations begin.

The films, the people, and the energy of the festival reminded me why we create and share stories in the first place. Thank you for supporting our voices and for moving FilAm cinema toward the future.

Being a part of this festival back in November was such an incredible experience. I felt so proud to be amongst such incredible Filipino filmmakers and watch their films. I was able to network and was inspired by so many other films and filmmakers. Thank you so much to Drea and everyone at FilAm for the incredible experience. It is a film fest experience I hold very special to my heart!

I really appreciate how warm and welcoming this team is, especially to emerging filmmakers, and how open they are to a variety of genres and voices -- truly showcasing a beautiful diasporic and rooted community. I love that months after the festival, I continue to see the friends I've made at the festival and continue to meet people who were at FACFF. A warm and wonderful home!
