A celebration of Tennessee Made Film & Music!
In 2018, Film Score and the Scruffy City Film & Music Festival are proud to present a new Tennessee Original Festival that spotlights five minute long films made by Tennessee Filmmakers featuring Tennessee Composers. The competition is open to all ages from Elementary School to Professionals of all ages. This new festival will screen films from four categories:
- Middle School (students enrolled in TN schools grade K-7)
- High School (any students enrolled in TN High Schools)
- College (any students enrolled in TN colleges or universities)
- Professionals (any TN resident is eligible)
The Top 15 submissions in each category will be screened at this all day Film & Music Festival on July 21, 2018. The winning films will go on to screen at the Scruffy City Film & Music Festival, July 26-29, 2018 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Winning Student Filmmakers and Composers will receive scholarships and internships. Winning Professional Films will receive a cash prize.
NON-TENNESSEE RESIDENTS:

The Winning Student Films will screen at the 2018 Scruffy City Film & Music Festival and they will receive two Student Passes to the Festival and be eligible for Scholarships to be announced at a later date.
Awards will be presented after the last films screen on July 21, 2018.
