The Hollywood Hills Awards

By submitting to the Hollywood Hills Awards, you accept the following terms.

The individual or corporation submitting the project hereby warrants that it is authorized to act on behalf of the project, and understands and accepts these requirements, rules and regulations.

To be eligible for consideration:

We accept entries in all languages, but non-English language works must have English subtitles at the time submitted. Dialogue lists will not be accepted.

We only accept online submissions through FilmFreeway.

Entrants must be 18 years or older.

Entry fees are in U.S. Dollars, are per entry, and are non-refundable. The Hollywood Hills Awards reserves the right to disqualify a submission, without refund of any kind, if eligibility requirements are not met including if eligibility status changes post-submission.

Entrants must fully comply with the entry deadlines. 

The Hollywood Hills Awards reserves the right to refuse entries. Unfortunately, fee waivers are not available for this festival. Requests for fee waivers are not responded to and labeled as spam.

All Award Certificates and Laurels will be sent digitally by email.

After an entry has been an official selection, the filmmaker will be notified and the entry will be listed on our website(s) under official selections. Official selection means that you can use the Hollywood Hills Awards laurels on your poster, film, and website. If you did not place as a Top Finalist or Winner, you do not have permission to use those laurels on any of your media or on any of your projects.

Cash Prizes are in US Dollars. 

Cash Prize winners must respond to email contact within 10 days about payment. If there is no response in 10 days, then the winners forfeit their cash awards. Cash Prize will only be transferred through Paypal. If the winner does not have a PayPal account, they must create one to receive the Cash Prize. Winners are responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use.

The Hollywood Hills Awards are hereby granted the rights to list the name/title of the entry, a logline or description of the entry, and the name of filmmakers or performers associated with it, on the Hollywood Hills Awards website or other Hollywood Hills social media accounts. All nominees, official selections, finalists, and winners agree to allow the Hollywood Hills Screenplay Competition to publish their entry name, entry title, and award on sites and social media accounts relating to the Hollywood Hills Awards, including but not limited to: FilmFreeway, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and any Hollywood Hills Awards website.

All winners also agree to let us email out logline, name, and title to list of film industry contacts.

Genre Award Winners and Runner Ups in all categories do not receive cash prizes. Only the categories and titles specified receive cash prizes.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Hollywood Hills Awards, from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity.

The Hollywood Hills Awards reserves the right to refuse entries and to change these terms, conditions, rules, and award categories at any time without notice
