1. L’Ente del Terzo Settore “Il Simposio delle Muse” nell’ambito del contest: “Racconti di mare - MEDITERRANEAN SOUTH FILMING”, organizzato tra le produzioni e i progetti speciali della ventottesima edizione del Premio “Penisola Sorrentina” ® con la partnership di RAI CINEMA CHANNEL, promuove un concorso riservato a cortometraggi tradizionali ed innovativi
2. Le iscrizioni al contest aprono il 11 maggio 2023 e chiudono il 21 luglio 2023. L’iscrizione avviene esclusivamente on line tramite il sito: https://filmfreeway.com/raccontidimare
3. La partecipazione al concorso è gratuita.
4. Al contest possono concorrere opere originali, nel senso di creazioni di mano dell'autore con l’esclusione di opere che siano state "copiate", "riprodotte" o "tradotte" da opera di altro autore.
5. Due sono le sezioni in concorso:
• CLASSIC: possono partecipare opere di fantasia o documentari realizzati con tecniche tradizionali di narrazione.
• INNOVATION: possono partecipare opere di fantasia o documentari che escano dalle strutture narrative tradizionali e si sviluppino attraverso un linguaggio cinematografico sperimentale e soprattutto orientate all’innovazione tecnologica (ad esempio: metaverso, realtà aumentata, realtà virtuale, animazione, ecc.).
6. Gli audiovisivi dovranno avere come tema il racconto del Sud in una prospettiva mediterranea, con una durata non superiore ai trenta minuti.
7. Nell’ambito del tema di cui sopra, le opera, sotto forma di racconto di fantasia o di documentario, potranno approfondire - a mero titolo esempilificativo - uno o più dei seguenti filoni: l’economia del mare, il paesaggio, il dialogo tra le civiltà, gli equilibri geopolitici del Sud e del Mediterraneo allargato, i corridoi energetici, le sedimentazioni culturali, la sostenibilità, il cibo e l’enogastronomia, le identità del futuro, ecc.
8. Ogni prodotto che non risponda alle caratteristiche tecniche sopra indicate e non svolga il tema indicato non verrà preso in considerazione, così come verranno esclusi contenuti contrari alle leggi vigenti, incitanti all’odio eppure offensivi nei confronti dei diritti umani.
9. Sono ammesse opere provenienti da tutto il mondo. Le opere straniere devono pervenire sottotitolate in lingua italiana, laddove i dialoghi non siano in italiano. Ad insindacabile giudizio della Organizzazione potranno essere accettate anche le opere con sottotitoli in lingua inglese. Comunque qualora l’opera venisse selezionata per la proiezione ufficiale dedicata ai vincitori, il partecipante si impegna sin d’ora a fornire all’Organizzazione del concorso copia del proprio lavoro con sottotitoli in lingua italiana.
10. Al momento dell’iscrizione gli autori, i produttori e i distributori dovranno essere maggiorenni e dichiarare di possedere tutti i diritti di utilizzazione e visione della propria opera e dovranno provvedere a caricare in versione digitale sulla piattaforma la propria opera per permetterne la visione e la valutazione da parte della Organizzazione.
11. La Direzione artistica, che si avvarrà anche del giudizio di una Commissione di Esperti, nominata dall’Ente organizzatore, sceglierà per ogni sezione il cortometraggio vincitore del montepremi in denaro e i due corti per la distribuzione gratuita, della durata di un mese, sul portale www.raicinemachannel.it.
12. L’annuncio ufficiale delle opere finaliste avverrà nel mese di ottobre 2023, mentre la proclamazione e la premiazione dell’opera vincitrice per ogni sezione avverrà durante una cerimonia ufficiale in programma nel mese di novembre 2023. Per ciascuna sezione al vincitore sarà corrisposto dal Simposio delle Muse ETS un montepremi in denaro lordo di euro 1.000,00 (mille/00).
13. Il partecipante che risulterà vincitore si impegna sin d’ora a fornire liberatoria gratuita per la pubblicazione del proprio corto vincitore sulla piattaforma di RAI CINEMA CHANNEL, mediante un apposito modello che sarà fornito direttamente da RAI CINEMA e che il vincitore dovrà firmare e rilasciare alla Organizzazione a seguito della comunicazione ufficiale di assegnazione del Premio.
14. Il bonifico bancario del montepremi avverrà da parte del Simposio delle Muse ETS entro e non oltre il 31 gennaio 2024. Per gli Autori - Produttori vincitori che parteciperanno alla cerimonia di premiazione da fuori regione Campania è previsto, oltre al montepremi, un ulteriore rimborso forfettario di euro 500,00 erogato dal Simposio delle Muse ETS a copertura delle spese di viaggio e di ospitalità che egli dovrà sostenere ai fini della partecipazione alla cerimonia ufficiale di investitura. Sulle somme in denaro verranno applicate le ritenute fiscali previste per legge.
15. La proprietà intellettuale dei lavori ed i conseguenti diritti restano in capo agli autori e produttori. Qualsiasi obbligo legale inerente a problemi di diritti d’autore sarà di esclusiva responsabilità del concorrente che è unicamente responsabile per l’utilizzazione non autorizzata nei suoi lavori di idee, testi, immagini o musiche di terzi. Attraverso l’iscrizione il partecipante solleva l’Organizzazione da ogni responsabilità verso terzi.
16. Ogni partecipante può concorrere con una sola opera. I corti pervenuti verranno conservati in un archivio digitale del Simposio delle Muse.
17. Le immagini, foto e video, relative ai cortometraggi inviati e alla premiazione potranno essere utilizzate, integralmente o in parte, per la promozione dell’evento sulle reti radio, televisive e web. I partecipanti autorizzano espressamente l'Organizzazione al trattamento dei dati personali contenuti nelle loro opere e materiale complementare.
18. Il coordinamento e la cura dell’iniziativa sono di responsabilità del Simposio delle Muse. Ogni eventuale variazione al programma e alle date sarà prontamente comunicata e resa nota sulla pagina dedicata della piattaforma FilmFreeway. Per ogni controversia il Foro competente sarà quello di Torre Annunziata (Na).
La partecipazione al concorso implica la integrale accettazione del presente Regolamento di concorso e di tutte le clausole in esso contenute.

1. The Third Sector Organization "Il Symposio delle Muse" in the context of the contest: "Tales of the sea- MEDITERRANEAN SOUTH FILMING", organized between the productions and special projects of the twenty-eighth edition of the "Penisola Sorrentina" ® Award with the media partnership of RAI CINEMA, promotes a competition reserved for traditional and innovative short films
2. Registration for the contest opens on 11 May 2023 and closes on 21 July 2023. Registration takes place exclusively online via the website: https://filmfreeway.com/raccontidimare
3. Participation in the competition is free.
4. Original works can compete in the contest, in the sense of creations by the author's hand with the exclusion of works that have been "copied", "reproduced" or "translated" from the work of another author.
5. There are two sections in the competition:
• CLASSIC: fictional works or documentaries made with traditional storytelling techniques can participate.
• INNOVATION: fictional works or documentaries that emerge from traditional narrative structures and develop through an experimental cinematic language and above all oriented towards technological innovation (for example: metaverse, augmented reality, virtual reality, animation, etc.) can participate.
6. The audiovisuals must have as their theme the story of the South in a Mediterranean perspective, with a duration not exceeding thirty minutes.
7. As part of the above theme, the works, in the form of fictional stories or documentaries, will be able to explore - purely by way of example - one or more of the following strands: the economy of the sea, the landscape, the dialogue between civilizations, the geopolitical balance of the South and the enlarged Mediterranean, the energy corridors, cultural sediments, sustainability, food and wine and gastronomy, the identities of the future, etc.
8. Any product that does not meet the technical characteristics indicated above and does not carry out the indicated theme will not be taken into consideration, as will contents contrary to the laws in force, inciting hatred and yet offensive to human rights.
9. Works from all over the world are admitted. Foreign works must be submitted subtitled in Italian, where the dialogues are not in Italian. At the unquestionable judgment of the Organization, works with subtitles in English may also be accepted. However, if the work is selected for the official screening dedicated to the winners, the participant undertakes from now on to provide the Organization of the competition with a copy of his work with Italian subtitles.
10. At the time of registration, the authors, producers and distributors must be of age and declare that they possess all the rights to use and view their work and must provide for uploading their work in digital version on the platform to allow it to be viewed and viewed. evaluation by the Organization.
11. The Artistic Direction, which will also make use of the judgment of a Commission of Experts, appointed by the Organizing Body, will choose for each section the winning short film of the cash prize and the two short films for free distribution, lasting one month, on the portal www.raicinemachannel.it.
12. The official announcement of the finalist works will take place in October 2023, while the proclamation and awarding of the winning work for each section will take place during an official ceremony scheduled for November 2023. For each section, the winner will be paid by Symposium of the Muses ETS a gross cash prize of 1,000.00 (one thousand/00) euros.
13. The participant who will be the winner undertakes as of now to provide free release for the publication of his winning short on the RAI CINEMA CHANNEL platform, using a special form that will be provided directly by RAI CINEMA and which the winner will have to sign and release to the Organization following the official communication of awarding of the Prize.
14. The bank transfer of the prize money will be made by the Symposium of the Muses ETS no later than 31 January 2024. For the winning Authors - Producers who will participate in the award ceremony from outside the Campania region, in addition to the prize money, a further refund will be provided lump sum of 500.00 euros provided by the Symposium of the ETS Muses to cover the travel and hospitality expenses that he will have to bear for the purpose of participating in the official investiture ceremony. The withholding taxes established by law will be applied to the money sums.
15. The intellectual property of the works and the consequent rights remain with the authors and producers. Any legal obligations relating to copyright issues will be the sole responsibility of the entrant who is solely responsible for any unauthorized use of third party ideas, text, images or music in his entries. By registering, the participant relieves the Organization of any liability towards third parties.
16. Each participant can compete with only one work. The short films received will be kept in a digital archive of the Symposium of the Muses.
17. The images, photos and videos relating to the short films sent and to the award ceremony may be used, in whole or in part, for the promotion of the event on radio, television and web networks. Participants expressly authorize the Organization to process the personal data contained in their works and complementary material.
18. The coordination and care of the initiative are the responsibility of the Symposium of the Muses. Any changes to the program and dates will be promptly communicated and made known on the dedicated page of the FilmFreeway platform. For any dispute, the competent Court will be that of Torre Annunziata (Naples).
Participation in the competition implies full acceptance of these Competition Regulations and all the clauses contained therein.
