 offrire visibilità e una possibilità di distribuzione “alternativa” a quei film che non trovano spazio nella filiera tradizionale;
 sostenere il settore audiovisivo;
 promuovere la cultura della sostenibilità ambientale, della tutela e valorizzazione del patrimonio naturale, paesaggistico, storico, archeologico, monumentale ed antropico, sensibilizzando sui temi della prevenzione dai rischi naturali;

Organization
"Visioni Verticali - Environment and Territories" is the new edition of a film festival that the "CGIAM - Center for Integrated Geomorphology for the Mediterranean Area" intends to carry out with the cultural association Polimeri, which has been organizing the film festival "Visioni Verticali" since 2019, thanks to the support of the Ministry of Culture - CINEMA AND AUDIOVISUAL GENERAL DIRECTION.

Event Description.
In the first edition of "Visioni Verticali - Environment and Territories" we aim to realize a unique experience in the context of regional and national reality, bringing to the attention of the younger generation independent, national and international films and productions, which deal markedly with the themes of the Environment and Territories through the involvement of specialists in the field, international guests, mass media and the public. The aims pursued are:
to offer visibility and an "alternative" distribution possibility to those films that do not find space in the traditional supply chain;
to support the audiovisual sector;
promote the culture of environmental sustainability, protection and enhancement of natural, landscape, historical, archaeological, monumental and anthropic heritage, raising awareness of the issues of prevention from natural hazards;
contribute to smart, sustainable and inclusive growth of its host territory.

"Visioni Verticali - Environment and Territories" intends to show the public an area of film that enjoys little visibility in film festivals today by allowing its enjoyment, both specialized and pure entertainment, by audiences of all ages.
The festival will be based on the intermingling of the arts and will focus on the relationship between cinema, new technologies and new audiovisual languages, through which environmental issues will be dealt with and the modifying processes of territories will be described with a view to sustainable and environmentally friendly development.

Awards & Prizes
 cortometraggi;
 documentari.
