The North Park Film Festival is a deep underground screening series that shares local and international cinema and music videos across a variety of genres in North Park area of San Diego, CA.

All genres are encouraged to submit! We seek to give a voice to small, underseen and unseen filmmakers, from local to international. Like our previous screenings, we intend to keep our programs free admission.

NPFF 2023 comprised two programs. The first took place at the Blind Lady Alehouse and featured music videos, animation, and experimental shorts. We followed this up with more intimate night of longer-form works, drama / dramedy, documentary and filmmaker Q&A sessions held at North Park Media in downtown San Diego and sponsored by Bottlecraft SD.

For 2024 we are aiming even bigger, and look to expand to additional nights and themes. Thanks to everyone who helps make this possible, and we'll see you again soon!

The NPFF Golden Ghost awards (names subject to change):
Dramatic Ghost - Best drama / documentary / narrative
Strange Ghost - Best animation / experimental
Musical Ghost - Best music video
