Mórbido is a fantastic and horror film festival in Mexico that celebrates 17 years of being an international showcase for genre films in the country. We are the only Spanish-speaking festival in Latin America, member of the Mélies International Festivals Federation.

Curses, witches, vampire women, cannibal children, Aztec mummies, sexorcists and luchadores, Mexican genre cinema has managed throughout history to create its own fantastic universe and has a long tradition of being a public favorite. This year, Mórbido Film Fest will pay homage to Mexico and the genre cinema it has given birth to in its twisted womb.

The 2024 edition will take place in Mexico City from October 30 to November 10, 2024. The selection will be shown on movie theaters and on the LATAM Pay TV channel Mórbido TV (only the Short Film Selection).

  • I loved the Morbido experience. I only wish I could've attended in person. But even from afar, I felt the love, and I really appreciated how passionate the Morbido team is about the fest and the films they select. I'm also so proud to have had my film win the Little Golden Skull for Best Short (Global). Truly a high honor!

  • Co-Haunting Cortometraje

I had a great pleasure of be selected to this year Morbido Fest.
Unfortunately I was not able to go there in person. I wish I could go. The dialogue with the festival was great and the festival did a great promotion of my film.
