The main goal of In-FCTA is and will always be the cultural dissemination in a depressed area with less access to diverse and quality cultural formats. In this case, it is a question of finding a place in Terres de l'Ebre for the diffusion of a cultural, audiovisual and cinematographic format, which has always had a great presence in the area, but which in recent years has lost the brilliance of other eras.

If the intention is to increase interest in the seventh art in the population, it must be made available to adults, for enjoyment, but also for the deepening of knowledge about cinema and the creation of a space for reflection and dialogue on the same cultural format and, again, the themes that are developed in the projected works, and also make it available to children, to get to know it, value it, create it and get excited about cinema. In this sense, the holding of the short film competition is considered very appropriate.
