  • Thank you to everyone who supported my film and made this moment possible.
I made this work to remember a Korea that endured hardship, but never lost its heart.
I wanted to show how people survived through love, community, and simple daily compassion.
AI became a new artistic tool that helped me restore these memories with care and dignity.
I will carry this honor forward and continue creating stories that connect us.

I feel both humbled and deeply grateful for this award.
From Korea to Hollywood, this moment feels like a bridge between my past and the present.
My childhood memories include war’s shadows and poverty, but also the warmth of family and neighbors.
I created this film to bring those moments back—not as history, but as living emotion.
Thank you for recognizing my story, and for believing in the future of AI cinema with a human heart.

We weren't able to attend so couldn't review some items--but we thank you for not only "selecting" our discussion-starter film "WHY?" but allowing it "semi-finalist" status. So encouraging!
