For about twenty years, Brescello has been the film set of the series “Don Camillo and Peppone”. The 14th Edition of the “Cinema Project” aims to continue to promote and support independent audiovisual film production, which focuses but isnt limited to topics about the countryside, environment, local traditions and memories, social and cultural influences etc.

Particularly in this edition, the festival also wishes to deal with issues on social and cultural influences and new cultures that are emerging in Italy, Europe and on a world scale. Finally, the authors are free to put themselves to the test and experiment with the authentic good things in life, such as peace and solidarity. Moreover, in this edition there is another topic that is the promotion of the experimental and art films. The attention is focused on the way it is being appreciated at home and abroad.

1. All the authors of the selected short films will be on the Festival catalogue and will have a profile on the web site.

2. The winner in the national film category will participate to the National Competition FEDIC. The prize “FEDIC” will be awarded to the best film. There will be runner ups prices as well and a total cash price of $10,000 will be awarded to all winners in this category

3. The winner in the international film category will participate to the International Competition FEDIC INTERNATIONALE. The prize “FEDIC INTERNATIONALE” will be awarded to the best film. There will be runner ups prices as well and a total cash price of $10,000 will be awarded to all winners in this category

4. Prizes will be given provided the authors or their delegates are in Brescello during the award ceremony. The foreign authors, who cannot be present at the award ceremony, could send a video or audio, to be used during the ceremony. The awarded prize will be sent to the winners via post.

1. Films submitted by foreign authors must be subtitled in English or Italian

2. The registered short films could be sent as links for the streaming visions and passwords must be specified in the appropriate space of the registration form.

3. Only films that have been filmed after the 1st of January 2021 can be submitted and the entry must include the filmmaker’s biography and filmography with the summary of the film.

4. The films, including the opening titles and closing credits should not be longer than 30 minutes for short films and have a minimum runtime of 60 minutes for feature length films.

5. Films must not have been submitted in previous editions,

6. The participating filmmakers can summit more than one film.
