Paris in Love Film Festival is an international event occurring every year in Paris. We invite filmmakers to join us for an evening of drama, romances, thrillers and other genre films. Love remains the leading theme of the selection but is not mandatory, we aim for diversity! We want to show the best fiction, animation and documentary films we receive wherever they come from.

One of our goals is to value under-represented creators. We will pay a special attention to films with at least one woman involved in a key role: Director, Producer, Screenwriter, DOP, Lead Actress...
In addition to the main competition, the 'Women in Focus' selection will screen the best films directed by women.

Paris in Love Film Festival takes place at L'Epée de Bois Cinema, an independent, arty cinema near La Sorbonne University. In programming our festival we will spotlight not only the fantastic home-grown talent that France has, but also the incredible filmmakers and film markets all over Europe and around the world.

Loved, loved attending the Paris in Love Film Festival! It was very big on heart and shone brightly with artistic virtuosity. Team Paris in Love: Christopher, Antoine, Alice, and Veig were terrific. They answered all of my communications in a timely manner, and were delightful during the actual event. And afterwards, they took all of us out for drinks and lively conversation at a charming bar near the Sorbonne.

My film, Gypsy Rose Leezinski, screened in the Women in Focus block, alongside outstanding French and international films that featured women (both onscreen and off). Sometimes, in other festivals, the caliber of the films can be a bit uneven, but all of the films in this festival were of the highest quality. Paris in Love is absolutely worth the submission fee.

Thank you for a fun and rewarding event.

Thanks so much to Christopher, Alice and the team at Paris in Love. While we couldn't make it over from Australia, we were thrilled that Karen Pearlman's I WANT TO MAKE A FILM ABOUT WOMEN won two awards - Women in Focus - Meilleur film and Meilleur documentaire. Hope we can attend in the future and meet the other filmmakers and audiences. Congrats to all.
