I. OBJETIVO GENERAL:
El proyecto Wiphay! busca fomentar el interés y la apreciación por el cine animado en niños, niñas y adolescentes. A través de programas educativos, proyecciones y talleres, buscamos estimular la creatividad, el diálogo armónico y la diversidad en el ámbito audiovisual. Además, capacitamos a potenciales talentos para que puedan contribuir activamente en este emocionante proceso de creación.
II. PARTICIPANTES:
Podrán participar personas de cualquier nacionalidad, ya sea de forma individual o colectiva. Las producciones en idiomas que no sean en español, deberán adjuntar subtítulos en formato .SRT en español y/o inglés. Se aceptarán hasta tres obras por realizador. La inscripción para todas las categorías:
Participan proyectos animados que hayan sido finalizados a partir del año 2020.
III. PLAZOS DE RECEPCIÓN:
El plazo de recepción será del 27 de febrero hasta el 24 de marzo del 2024 hasta las 11:59 pm. (Hora Perú). Los proyectos remitidos después de la fecha no serán considerados a menos que la organización haya decidido extender la convocatoria.
IV. CATEGORÍAS PARA LAS MUESTRAS:
En aras de fomentar la igualdad y la apreciación de todas las obras, hemos
optado por no establecer una competición ni destacar unas creaciones por
encima de otras. Dentro de las proyecciones, los propios niños serán los
jueces y otorgarán una única calificación. Es importante mencionar que
este encuentro no ofrece ni proporciona ninguna retribución económica
adicional, y en ningún caso se efectuará un pago por los derechos de
exhibición de las obras audiovisuales seleccionadas mediante esta
convocatoria.

Consideraciones:
• Los cortometrajes no deben superar los 20 (veinte) minutos.
• En el caso de los largometrajes deben ser superiores a 60 (sesenta) minutos.
• En el caso de series solo podrá ser seleccionado un capítulo que no debe superar los 30 (treinta) minutos.
• Para el caso de la categoría Cortometrajes de animación Internacional, solo se aceptan obras que no pertenezcan a Latinoamérica y Perú.
• La decisión de proyectar trabajos fuera de competencia dependerá de la organización.
• En la categoría “Hecho por niños” se debe indicar el porcentaje de participación de los niños.
• Tendrán más valoración o prioridad de selección si tocan temas de interculturalidad o que promuevan culturas originarias.
V. INSCRIPCIONES:
Los trabajos sólo podrán enviarse de manera online, encuentra el formulario de inscripción.
VI. CONDICIONES DE LA CONVOCATORIA:
Las producciones animadas recibidas podrán ser usadas para la promoción de la escuela en sus actividades (utilizando parte del video, no su totalidad, también puede utilizar el teaser o el trailer). Así mismo, las obras pasarán a formar parte de la videoteca de la Asociación Cinematográfica Ajayu para ser exhibidas en espacios presenciales de la organización. Los responsables de la postulación como directores, productores y/o distribuidores deben contar con los derechos de la obra en postulación y se comprometen a no presentar materiales audiovisuales y/o fotografías sobre los que no tengan derechos de uso. La organización de la escuela no se responsabiliza de las obras ni del uso inadecuado de los derechos de propiedad intelectual por parte de los autores.
VII. PRESELECCIÓN:
La selección de las obras será determinada por integrantes de la asociación involucrados en el proyecto Wiphay que, a través de un consenso y diálogo, determinarán las obras seleccionadas que serán parte del Proyecto Wiphay y sus públicos. Esta preselección se realizará de la siguiente manera: Después del cierre de postulaciones, el material recibido será preseleccionado por el Equipo de Programación,
designado por el comité organizador de la escuela.
La selección oficial se divide de la siguiente forma:

Seguidamente se tendrá una lista de preseleccionados antes de la publicación de
resultados, a quienes se les notificará por correo el día 30 de marzo del 2024.
Para ello es importante recalcar, que los PRESELECCIONADOS deben mandar
el formato de AUTORIZACIÓN (documento que llegará al correo consignado,
informando sobre su preselección, el cual debe ser llenado y firmado por el
director(a) o responsable de la obra), donde confirman su participación y
autorizan la proyección de su obra en los días del de proyección de la escuela
itinerante WIPHAY en Muestras itinerantes presenciales en distintos lugares
que haya designado la organización. El envío de este formato de autorización será
un requisito indispensable para ser parte de la Selección de la escuela itinerante de animación WIPHAY!
VIII. DE LOS SELECCIONADOS:
La producción animada que haya sido elegida como parte de la Selección Oficial del Festival, deberá
presentar:
• Una o dos gráficas del corto con una calidad mínima de 300 dpi.
• Una fotografía del director/es. (no obligatorio)
• Una imagen del afiche del cortometraje o still (no obligatorio).
• Tráiler o teaser (no obligatorio).
El director y/o productor de la producción animada AUTORIZA que la misma sea incluida en la videoteca de la escuela WHIPHAY y en muestras itinerantes presenciales, para reproducción, comunicación al público y exhibición de su trabajo en exhibiciones gratuitas exclusivas de la escuela orientado a la formación de audiencias.
IX. RECONOCIMIENTOS/ RETRIBUCIÓN:
Los reconocimientos serán por medio certificados digitales, además de la realización del laurel como parte de la selección oficial. Llamamos retribución a la actividad de “conversatorio” o “feedback” de las exhibiciones que se tendrán en las etapas de proyecciones del proyecto. Se hará un registro audiovisual de los cortometrajes proyectados y una serie de preguntas a los espectadores en los cuales se les preguntará
a los niños su apreciación de lo visto, posterior esto se recopilará y se hará llegar cada realizador este material de manera interna.
X. CALIFICACIÓN:
Las obras cinematográficas seleccionadas serán apreciadas y valoradas por el público objetivo al que va destinada cada obra. A través de una metodología de valoración propuesta desde el equipo de Wiphay, teniendo en cuenta la finalidad del proyecto, que es darle voz a las infancias. Se tendrá consideración a películas (cortometrajes y largometrajes) que tengan una temática o un cuidado en la historia relacionada con problemáticas sociales, ambientales, educativas, pedagógicas que tengan que ver con temáticas relacionadas a la ubicación de los realizadores. Se cree firmemente que el diálogo a través de la visión de las películas es una manera de hacer un cambio para la sociedad y sus ciudadanos.
XI. PUBLICACIÓN DE RESULTADOS:
La Selección Oficial se publicará el 05 de abril del 2024 a través de nuestras redes
sociales tanto del proyecto como los de la asociación.
XII. ACEPTACIÓN DE LAS BASES:
La participación de esta convocatoria implica la aceptación de las presentes bases. La
ausencia de cualquier dato importante en la inscripción, así como del material adjunto
a la misma y el incumplimiento de los plazos establecidos, podrá suponer la no participación en la escuela de la obra correspondiente.

Considerations:
- Short films must not exceed 20 (twenty) minutes.
- Feature films must be longer than 60 (sixty) minutes.

- In the case of the International Animated Short Film category, only works from outside Latin America and Peru will be accepted.

VI. CONDITIONS OF THE CALL FOR ENTRIES:
The animated productions received may be used for the promotion of the school in its activities (using part of the video, not all of it, you can also use the teaser or trailer). Likewise, the works will become part of the Ajayu Cinematographic Association's video library to be exhibited in the organization's on-site spaces. VII. PRE-SELECTION:
The selection of the works will be determined by members of the association involved in the Wiphay Project who, through consensus and dialogue, will determine the selected works that will be part of the Wiphay Project and its audiences. IX. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS/REMUNERATION:
Acknowledgements will be by means of digital certificates, in addition to the realization of the laurel as part of the official selection. We call retribution to the activity of "conversation" or "feedback" of the exhibitions that will be held during the screening stages of the project. There will be an audiovisual record of the short films screened and a series of questions to the spectators in which the children will be asked about their appreciation of what they have seen.

X. GRADING:
The selected cinematographic works will be appreciated and valued by the target audience to which each work is destined. Through an evaluation methodology proposed by the Wiphay team, taking into account the purpose of the project, which is to give a voice to children. Consideration will be given to films (short and feature films) that have a thematic or a care in the story related to social, environmental, educational, pedagogical issues that have to do with topics related to the location of the filmmakers. It is firmly believed that dialogue through the vision of films is a way to make a change for society and its citizens.
XI. PUBLICATION OF RESULTS:
