All works must have been completed after 1 January 2023. They may could be presented at other festivals and screened in public and possibly not streamed for free on the Internet. Even more, the festival's Artistic Director reserves the right to choose also some works prior to 2023, in case of particularly high quality. The selected films will be screened and voted on by the public via streaming on Indiecinema's SVOD (Subscription Video On Demand) platform for the entire duration of the festival, and the awards for best film, best documentary, best short film, and the audience award will be presented during the final awards ceremony. By accepting these rules and submitting their film. The directors/ producers/ distributors/ rights holders automatically authorize the use (online and offline) of trailers, clips, backstage footage, film clips, posters, subtitles, dialogue, images, and any other content from the film submitted to the festival for advertising and marketing purposes for Indiecinema Film Festival. Directors, producers and film rights holders agree, by registering for Indiecinema Film Festival, to make their films available for streaming and all screenings and events of the festival without any fee, in case of selection in competition. By signing up through FilmFreeway you agree NOT to require a screening fee as a requirement for participation in the festival. The directors and productions of the selected films undertake to insert the festival logo in the opening credits of the film.
All films in English must be subtitled in Italian. All non-English films must be subtitled in Italian and English with separate SRT files. Admission does not guarantee acceptance to the festival. We also accept presentations that have been previewed elsewhere and may already have distribution agreements. Non-definitive films are not allowed.
The screenings are scheduled live and online throughout the year starting from the conclusion of the selections and the sending of notifications to the directors with a calendar at the discretion of the festival organization. No film can be withdrawn from the festival program after its selection and a fee cannot be requested for screenings and events of a film.
Although every precaution will be taken to prevent the loss or damage of materials during the festival, Indiecinema Film Festival is not responsible for any damage during the festival.
At the end of each festival we offer the possibility of making an optional agreement with earnings in revenue share for feature films and documentaries selected in competition that want to enter the catalog of the Indiecinema streaming platform for a duration of 3 years, with the possibility of reaching an audience international.

By submitting, the filmmaker declares to own all rights (video and music) and indemnifies Indiecinema Film Festival from any claim, liability, or damage arising from copyright infringement. No responsibility is assumed by the festival organizer for technical problems arising from the connection that may affect the functioning of the festival, including but not limited to: electronic, wireless or Internet connection or other online communication problems; errors or limitations of any Internet service provider, server, host or provider, email transmissions to be sent or received, lost, delayed, incomplete, damaged, inaccurate, stolen, delayed, misdirected, undelivered or lost, interrupted or none network, server, hardware or software errors available; defective computer, website or other connections, computer availability, accessibility or communication errors or transmission error, lines, technical failures, encrypted, delayed or misdirected transmissions, computer hardware or software malfunctions, other errors or difficulties of any kind, whether they are human, mechanical, electronic, IT, network, typographical, printing with the festival, including, but not limited to, errors or difficulties that may occur in relation to the administration of the festival, award announcement, incorrect uploading of photos, videos or any related material, downloading material or using the website. The directors agree that the festival producer will not be liable to the directors or third parties for any modification or termination by the festival. The festival producer reserves the right to make any necessary changes to the regulations or programming. The festival producer reserves the right to close the festival at any time due to force majeure.
