Looking for films, short films, documentaries of contemporary indie cinema that you can't find in mainstream channels. Avant-garde, experiments, new languages: the cinema laboratory of the future. All films must be subtitled in English and, if possible, in Italian, with separate SRT files (not burned into the master video).

Indiecinema film festival allows audiences all over the world to discover the latest innovations and avant-garde languages of non-mainstream cinema. Our focus is on the invention that goes beyond pre-packaged and safe models to explore the new languages of the seventh art.

A festival to discover and promote the hidden treasures and filmmakers of "truly" independent cinema. In recent years, technology has "democratized" the art of cinema and allowed the birth of a creative ferment never seen before, works free from the usual "industrial" patterns that bring an air of renewal.

We think of cinema as art: the technical packaging of a film is not important to us but only its artistic quality. It doesn't matter what budget you shot your movie on. If it is engaging and exciting for the public, it is what we are looking for. We discover talents in order to promote them to the largest audience possible.

The selected films are distributed all over the world through the Indiecinema streaming channel and advertised through our channels. The selected films will be screened and voted on by the public via streaming on Indiecinema's SVOD (Subscription Video On Demand) platform for the entire duration of the festival, and the awards for best film, best documentary, best short film, and the audience award will be presented during the final awards ceremony.

Excellent communication and press release of the film. However no feedback on the film screening itself or images to find out how it went.

    Response from festival:

Hi Lewis! First, many thanks for your appeciation, upon festival's spirit, communication and organization. As you know we are very little, so we need such a feedback, even to grow.
About pictures of Eliyah's evening.... just my fault: I don't know if you still read the mail I sent you last weekend, anyway I tried to tell you you that audience's feedback was positive and even more you could find some photos on my private FB page. But maybe you can't look at them just there!
So, this morning I moved that album with a lot of pictures also to the festoval's official page.
    Here you are: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100088426091567
Can you open the page? You'lll see many pictures of movies and guests from England, just at the top...

    Take care!

  • Festival stupendo. Con una formula itinerante di proiezione. I lavori scelti sono tutti ottimi e il capocomico, Stefano Coccia, ha una cultura cinematografica e una passione assolutamente fuori dal comune.

    Response from festival:

  • Thanks to the Indiecinema Film Festival for selecting us.

    Response from festival:

Hi, miss Ying Chu, we were really happy to select and screen last year your amazing short movie, we also want to inform you that, if you wish to submit any other work for the 4th Edition, the festival selections will resume today, May 1st, under the supervision of a new artistic director, Michela Aloisi, assisted by the previous director Stefano Coccia as vice-director.
