Este festival se centra en proyectos filmados en un solo lugar, incluso si han simulado diferentes locaciones en ese mismo sitio. Sabemos que no es fácil lograrlo, por eso nuestros jueces solo elegirán los conceptos más interesantes.

This festival is dedicated exclusively to projects filmed in a single location, even if they have simulated different locations within the same place. We know this isn't easy to achieve, which is why our judges will only select the most intriguing concepts.

1st Place - Digital certificate.

2nd Place - Digital certificate.

3rd Place - Digital certificate.

Rules & Terms

Submissions Open

• Must be innovative and original.
• All projects must be created with no longer than 2 years.
• Fees must be paid, no refunds.
• All entries will be prescreened for eligibility by selection committee, not all entries will be programed.
• Must be subtitled in English or Spanish.
• Must include a synopsis (poster and trailer If available).

Submission FAQs

Projects can be sent in MOV or MP4, YouTube or Vimeo link.
Submitters will be notified until final deadline.

* By submitting, the filmmaker agrees to let the festival use excerpts from their screeners for use in festival trailers, publicity and promotions.

    I want to thank all the folks at the One Location Film Festival for selecting "Le Bassin" as Best Screenplay (2023)! I am honored... and I will be back next year to compete against even more submissions as this awesome festival grows, and it will. Why? Because it is run correctly, safely, accessible, and timely.     I was pleased to have won the best under one-minute film category. I was saddened though to learn that despite winning a category, I would not screen at the festival. I have been told only the top 10 films screened; but it surprises me they can't automatically show the under one minute winner, even if that meant screening 11 films. Had I been screening I could have attended the festival and had more networking opportunities.
