Vesuvius International Film Awards (VIFA) is a festival once a month with annual screening. Our festival is a brilliant opportunity to participate in international competition.

The films of the Official selection and the winners will be selected each month, so the filmmakers will know about jury’s decision very quickly.

Every year, a new selection of works, about all the winners of the main categories, will be screened live with the public. The winners of the year will be announced during the awards ceremony.

So for each entry, the author has the chance to win twice (the winner of the month and the winner of the year)

The best films will be screened live in Campania, south of Italy.

Always a theatre or cinema.

The mission of our festival is to introduce new names from all over the world to our audience.

The festival has the following structure:
1. The selection of films: we see all submitted films.
2. Selected films will receive the status "Official Selection" of the month.
3. The jury selects winners of the month.

Best documentary: the jury will divided into "short doc" (till 45 minutes) and "feature doc" (from 46 minutes)

Best Lgbt (Jury will divided into "short Lgbt" (till 45 minutes) and" feature Lgbt" from 46 minutes)

Best covid (Jury will divided into "short Lgbt" (till 45 minutes) and" feature Lgbt" from 46 minutes)

Best fashion movie

Best script: the jury will divided into "produced" and "unproduced" for short and feature.

Rules & Terms

1. We support and believe in cinema.

2. No fee waiver. All entry fees are non-refundable.

3. Multiple entries from the same submitter are accepted. A separate submission and a separate entry fee must accompany each entry.

4. The decision of the festival selection committee will be final.

5. Vesuvius International Film Awards (VIFA) organizers reserve rights change, cancel or re-schedule the dates, venue, awards & categories without consent or information to contestants.

6. The organizers reserve the right not to award any or all of the prizes.
