The Festival Background

Seattle is the largest famous city in the Pacific Northwest of the United States, it’s located in King County between Puget Bay and Lake Washington in Washington State, it about 174 KM from the US-Canada border. Seattle is the most recognized as the best and comfortable living and working city in the United States and a global attractive meeting center. The beautiful nature green environment protection has won the reputation of “Emerald City”.

Seattle is often the gathering place of original brands of famous global successful companies, like Boeing, Microsoft, Amazon, Google, T-Mobile, Costco, Starbucks, Expedia, WSU, UW, Nordstrom, Nintendo, Valve and more gaming companies, the hometown of Jazz and the Space Needle as a local landmark built during the World Expo in 1962.

Seattle was first known by the local classic movie story “Sleepless in Seattle”, and it has become more famous in latest years by Chinese featured movie story “Beijing meets Seattle” to bring more people to coming visit Seattle !

Along with the rapid and iterative development of high technology, more people would like to learn how use simple equipment to do film production to record their own interesting and memorable life stories. In order to provide more opportunities to do better works and talent demand, we look forward to all friends coming to join us in Seattle in September, 2022 !

Mission Statement

To establish unique platform in North America Region and gathering people who love Arts, Technologies, Film and Entertainment to be unities to present the diversity life, times, sprites and culture as unicorn pioneers and promoters;

To encourage our younger generations to utilizing the latest technologies for visualizing the world in their films, gathering showcases for many universe voices to share, we would be able to learn each other from all the nations and perform the most of our better life !

I Submission Requirements

1. Acceptable Film Categories as follows:
Micro Film (10 minutes or Less);
Short Film (between 10-50 minutes);
Feature Film (50 minutes or more)

2. Each submitted film must have premiered prior to the submission date, including, but
not limited to exhibition or played through a distribution agency or online streaming.

3. Submissions must be accompanied by the applicable submission fees PER ENTRY and
a completed online entry form.

4. Entry Fees per film are non-refundable, but are waivable, it must be accepted by the
administration of event organization, which it have to make up while become winner.

5. Films may be in English or non-English version, but all non-English Films must have
English subtitles at the time submitted, otherwise the films not be considerable at all.

6. Films must be submitted as an online streaming video via a password-protected
streaming URL, or DVD with NTSC or PAL formatting (please test before sending).
All transmission or shipping costs shall be paid by the submitter.

7. We will prefer to screen films as digital files during the Festival, does NOT screen films
on Blu-Ray, HD-CAM, or DCP, if you are unable or unwilling to provide us your film as
a digital file for exhibition, please DO NOT SUBMIT your film with us.

8. As part of its submission for each film, the submitter shall provide us with the existing
marketing press kits, photographs and publicity materials all about the film.

9. We reserves the right to reject or disqualify any submission (whether accepted or not)
if: (a) a submitter does not adhere to submission rules; or (b) fails to respond to our
communications concerning about the submission.

10. We will make notification of selection by email at specific date in the program list.
Submitters may withdrew your film at any time prior to our notification that film has
been selected as officially.

II. Terms and Conditions

1. By entering a submission to us, the submitter agrees to all of the terms and
conditions stated below and herein.

2. The submitter is establishing an enforceable agreement with us, and therefore is
responsible for understanding all these terms and abiding by them.

3. The submitter is giving us, its licensees, successors assigns, and any other parties
succeeding or authorized by it certain rights with regard to intellectual property that
makes up the submission, including, but not limited to the follows.

A. Release the film for press preview and review, including critical review;

B. Use any part of the film, including all images shown and music in the film, any part
of the film's website and any social media properties in the film for purposes of
publicizing the Festival or future events;

C. Screening and /or display of the film at the Festival or Jury team; and

D. Retention of the Publicity Materials in our library and use the Publicity Materials in
connection with the Festival and any other related activities.

4. With regard to the submission, the submitter agrees to give us a perpetual, worldwide
nonexclusive license to use, publicly perform, publicly display, copy, distribute and
create derivative works of your submission in connection with the Festival.

5. The submitter and Festival agree that no screening fees will be paid to the filmmaker,
but will give all credits that we practicably can, given case-by-case circumstances.

6. The submitter hereby represents and warrants that the submitter has obtained any
and all consents, releases, licenses, and other authorizations or waivers of any kind
necessary for the inclusion or reproduction of any person, character, location, thing,
trademark, sound recording, musical composition or other work in the film, all the
responsibilities must take care by submitter, No exceptions.

7. The submitter agrees, that in the event which representations made by submitter in
Paragraph 6 (above) turns out to be not true (i.e., submitter has infringed someone
else's copyrights), then submitter shall indemnify and hold harmless our Festival for
any claims or threat of claim against the same, and that submitter will pay for (first),
or reimburse (last resort), all costs associated with the Festival defending any such
claims against the Festival for violation of another's copyright as a result of
submitter's submission

8. Submitter warrants that submitter has full consent and permission from all people
who appear in any identifiable manner in the submission to use their persona in the
submission, their knowing and understanding that their image or likeness may be
used commercially.

9. Submitter agrees to hereby release, indemnify, and hold harmless Festival from any
and all claims, including, without limitation, claims for damages for libel, infringement
of rights of publicity, invasion of privacy, portrayal in a false light, or any other claim
from any person based on use of the submission.

10.Any and all disputes arising from your submission shall be first attempted to be
resolved by a mediator in the State of Washington, in person or through electronic
and phone communication.

11. The parties agree that the law of the State of Washington applies to this agreement
(without regard to the conflicts of laws provisions thereof), and that all federal and
state courts within the State of Washington shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any
dispute arising out of or relating to this agreement.

12. This is the entire agreement with respect to the parties, and all other kind of any
communications about this matter are not a part of this agreement.
