TFC International Film Festival

En la capital de Sonora, estamos orgullosos de haber establecido la primera escuela de cine independiente en el noreste de México. Aquí, ofrecemos diplomados, talleres y cursos dirigidos a personas de todas las edades, desde niños hasta adultos, que comparten una pasión por el séptimo arte. Nuestra misión es hacer que el cine sea accesible para todos, independientemente de su edad o del equipo de filmación que tengan a su disposición.
En la actualidad, el cine ha alcanzado un nivel de accesibilidad sin precedentes gracias a la multiplicidad de plataformas y medios disponibles. Por ende, es esencial que aprovechemos al máximo estas nuevas oportunidades.
Creemos con firmeza que, al contar con una historia impactante y la habilidad para plasmarla en la pantalla, la preocupación por el equipo de filmación pierde relevancia. En nuestros días, podemos acceder a cámaras de excelente calidad a precios razonables, incluyendo los propios smartphones.
Con este enfoque en mente, nos complace anunciar el lanzamiento del Festival Internacional de Cine, organizado por nuestro Instituto (TFCIFF). Nuestro propósito principal es fomentar la cultura cinematográfica e invitar a cualquier individuo con un proyecto cinematográfico a participar y compartir su obra. Abrazamos la filosofía de "Hacer películas, no excusas".

In the capital of Sonora, we take pride in having established the first independent film school in northeastern Mexico. Here, we provide diploma programs, workshops, and courses tailored to individuals of all ages, ranging from children to adults, who share a profound passion for the world of cinematic arts. Our mission revolves around making cinema accessible to all, irrespective of their age or the filming equipment they may possess.
In today's context, the accessibility of cinema has reached an unprecedented level, courtesy of the diverse range of platforms and mediums available. Hence, it becomes imperative for us to fully capitalize on these fresh opportunities.
We strongly hold the belief that, armed with a compelling narrative and the skill to translate it onto the screen, concerns related to filming equipment become secondary. Presently, we can easily access top-notch cameras at reasonable prices, including through the use of smartphones.
With this focused vision, we are delighted to unveil the launch of the International Film Festival, orchestrated by our Institute (TFCIFF). Our core objective is to nurture cinematic culture and extend an invitation to all individuals with cinematic projects to partake in and share their creations. We embrace the ethos of "make films, not excuses."
