​Nominated for Best Festival in Cleveland by Cleveland Scene Magazine, this year we welcomed over 350 guests to our second event!

The FunMill Films Festival takes place in Cleveland, Ohio and welcomes local films of all genres and styles. If your film is submitted from an Ohio production company, you are automatically selected to be part of our program! We accept shorts, trailers, music videos and documentaries. All projects submitted from outside of Ohio is put through a selection process only in the event of overwhelming submissions.

We also host our own Competition Event! The FunMill Films Competition will take place in the prime time spot of our festival. 30 teams will compete for the chance to win cash prizes and awards. Each team will be given the same first page of a script and have 30 days to complete the story with their own style and flair.

Rules & Terms

Anyone outside of Ohio may be subject to a selection process in the event of too many submissions to fill the program.

Schedule and details will be posted a week before the event and will be printed on official programs. Short films must be no longer than 10 minutes or will be disqualified with no refund provided.

Trailers must be no longer than 2 minutes or will be disqualified with no refund provided.

    This is what I wish all festivals were like. Funmill is very well organized, no technical problems, no confusion, and a great venue. But where Funmill really shines is community, which makes it a great opportunity to have your film shown to people who who want to watch it and support you. A great all around experience.
