IMDb qualifier "Hollywood Blood Horror Festival" is a LA International online film festival designed for filmmakers to promote their work through an online platform.

In the last years, our festival has rewarded great artists, such as Eric Roberts, Linda Blair, Adrienne King, Caroline Williams and Christine Elise 👏👏👏

We accept independent projects from horror, gore, sci-fi, fantasy, mystery, dark comedy, thriller, crime, action, adventure, comedy, animated genres and documentary, especially low or no-budget ones plus student films.

Each month our judges watch, review and rate the submitted films through private screenings. Each round, the best submitted projects are featured in "Hollywood Blood Horror Festival" social media (with the publication of synopsis, stills and a trailer/teaser) as part of a general promotional action of indie production.

Before submitting, please read carefully the following:
Every submission can add numerous additional judging categories increasing the chance to become a multi-award-winning. In these cases, the name(s) to be credited should be included in the cover letter.

We don't showcase the full films online.

We are unable to provide a specific review for selected and not- selected projects.

Wildfire Outbreak UK won the June 2026, Best Sci-fi, this is my third festival award for the film. This says, that all the criticism of me, is now on those negative people. Thanks Hollywood Blood Horror Festival. I would have loved a physical award. But the states is a bit far to go

  • This was my fourth time having an Award Winner at the Hollywood Blood Horror Festival. The first was "Decapitator: the Tale of the Cuyahoga Valley Bigfoot" which was the Award Winner for "Best Horror Short" in 2020. 🏆 In 2025, "The Savage Frogs of Innsmouth" and "Bones in the Basement" were Award Winners of "Best Sci-Fi Short"! 🏆 And in 2026, "Dagon" was Award Winner of "Best Sci-Fi Short"! 🏆 One thing I know for sure, Hollywood Blood Horror Festival will continue to be one of my go-to film festivals !!
