It's our first year running and we've already received amazing feedback about our award show! Participants, movie goers and comic book artists alike are excited to be a part of an emerging event in the new mecca of film in the Queen City and in the USA!

RCIA mission is to highlight the works of talented filmmakers and comic book writers/artists who otherwise may not have the opportunity to showcase their project. Our goal is to also educate the new filmmakers and comic book artists/writers with industry related resources and provide an excellent opportunity for networking.

We are excited about the industry experts who will share their knowledge and give their advice to filmmakers and comic book artists.

Rules & Terms

Rules
Any materials sent will not be returned unless specifically requested.
Short films shouldn't exceed 45 minutes.
Feature Length Films don't have no limit on it.
Web-Comic/Comic Books/Novels shouldn't exceed 100 pages when submitting
Student Films shouldn't exceed 25 minutes.
Comedy Skits will not be accepted if it exceed 4 minutes.
Animation videos shouldn't exceed 15 minutes.
Music Videos shouldn't exceed 5 minutes.
A link to watch your web series should be included when you submit and the trailer for the season you're submitting.
All films and comics will be screened by professionals from within the film, comic book and television industry. Projects of exceptional quality will be screened and showcased.
Any materials sent will not be returned unless specifically requested.
Format - We will not accept films in DVD format for submissions.
All submissions and submission fees will be transacted through FilmFreeway.com
Foreign films must include subtitles and foreign comics will have to have a english version of them.
Redhawk Crescent Indie Awards will notify all submissions in writing if the film or comic has been accepted for screening or not.
If your film project or comic has been accepted, you will receive further instructions regarding the screening process.
Redhawk Crescent Indie Awards is hereby granted the rights to utilize an excerpt from any film, or any comics submitted for promotional purposes of the festival. The individual or corporation submitting the film or comic hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film or comic for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements, rules and regulation
Redhawk Crescent Indie Awards reserves the right to refuse submissions.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Redhawk Crescent Indie Awards from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.
All participants must be 18 years or older.
