CineVox Dance Film Festival (formerly Contact Dance Film Festival) is dedicated to sharing innovative new films from around the world with Portland's growing dance audience. Now in its seventh year, CineVox Dance Film Festival presents films from around the world in a three day festival.

Long-form or short, aggressive or whimsical, from established or emerging artists...CineVox is an open and inclusive forum designed to advance the art form of dance on film, and thereby the art of dance itself.

CineVox Dance Film Festival is hosted by BodyVox, an internationally touring contemporary dance company based in Portland, Oregon. BodyVox has made numerous short films, winning multiple international awards.

Before submitting, please remember we are specifically a festival of dance-film, and do not show non-dance related film.

    We were thrilled that Cinevox chose to screen our film Lockdown Portraits! Though we were unable to attend as we are based in London, the pairing of our film with a film about Hans van Manen was perfect. Friends who attended the screening said it was a great night, with a lovely crowd and a sweet vibe. Thank you Cinevox for giving Lockdown Portraits its North American premiere!
