  • Thank you for not only making "Loosen Up: The Short" not only an official selection, but also awarding us with Best Actor and Best Comedy Film! This festival was truly such an amazing experience. It was a fabulous environment and everything was so well-organized. It felt amazing to be surrounded by other female filmmakers, particularly women in comedy, and it was such an uplifting supportive crowd. I also felt the Q&A was so valuable and such great, meaningful, and specific questions were asked to each filmmaker. A lot more care went into this festival than some others I've experienced. I don't live in Atlanta, but I know for sure if I get another film into this festival, we are flying down to make the trip - it's so worth it!! Thank you again for such an amazing experience!

  • I had a wonderful time in Atlanta at the festival. As a screenwriter, it was a special experience to have my script read by such talented actors. And I made connections that continue on as collaborations.

    A solid five gold stars!
I was honored my short script, "Baby, You Can Drive My Car", became a Nominee. In addition, there are amazing people running this festival and CinemaLife, their umbrella organization. Amazing communication and truly helpful emails that offer information and advice for indie filmmakers and screenwriters. It really made me feel like I'm part of a community.
    Highly recommended!

This was my first festival win. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I've already told multiple people about the Women's Comedy Film Festival and Cinema Life. I told them they must enter whenever they have a product. I learned so much.
