The Say Something Media and Ideas Festival celebrates the power of voice to change and shape narratives and our communities. Media producers in the Greater Kalamazoo area are encouraged to submit content inspired by shifting narratives, imagining the future, and solutions to community issues. Some suggested themes include:

For each main category, a youth and adult may be awarded a prize. The winner will receive a commemorative trophy. Finalists will also receive a certificate of excellence for their entry(s).
There will be one (1) winner selected in each Sponsored Category and will receive a commemorative trophy.
The winners will be screened at the Say Something Media and Idea Festival. Other finalists will be screened online and on Public Media Network.
