PRESENTAZIONE

Il Premio e Festival internazionale VeniceLands FilmPrize, è un evento diffuso in un circuito di diverse sedi e città della Provincia di Treviso.

FilmPrize porta il cinema e la gente del cinema direttamente a contatto con il pubblico, e viceversa l'opportunità per molti che non conoscano direttamente i modi ed i meccanismi di questa forma d'arte di entrarne in contatto. Si pensa in particolare ai giovani che potranno trarne lo stimolo a cimentarsi loro stessi nella progettazione e realizzazione di un film.
VeniceLands FilmPrize è un Festival ed un Concorso:
- Un Festival nel quale si potranno vedere film nazionali ed internazionali, e con questo entrare in contatto con altre realtà e modi di pensare.
- Un Concorso a premi, con giurie di pubblico e di professionisti, poi è anche workshop nei quali gli autori presenti potranno condividere con il pubblico il loro modo di fare cinema.
Infine VeniceLands FilmPrize è anche presentazioni premiazioni e partecipazione di migliaia di spettatori.

Art - 1 ORGANIZZAZIONE
Il Concorso cinematografico VeniceLands FilmPrize è creato e gestito dall'Associazione Culturale Anonima Sognatori che opera in collaborazione con le Amministrazioni Comunali e con le Aziende del territorio. Parte importante dell'Organizzazione sono i volontari che con la loro opera permettono lo svolgimento della manifestazione.

Art - 2 OBBIETTIVI
VeniceLands FilmPrize è un concorso cinematografico, un momento di aggregazione culturale e sociale, un luogo di incontri e riflessione, un’esperienza formativa.
Nello spirito di questi obbiettivi, si invitano i partecipanti ad essere presenti durante il festival, nelle cerimonie di premiazione, negli incontri con il pubblico, negli eventuali workshop.
L’ambito d’interesse del Festival è la circuitazione dei film di cortometraggio avvicinandoli allo spettatore, e facendo conoscere questa possibilità di comunicazione a basso costo.

Art. - 3 LUOGO E PERIODO DEL FESTIVAL
La Prima Edizione del VeniceLands FilmPrize si tiene in un'area della Provincia di Treviso composta da più Comuni per un totale di circa 180.000 abitanti.
Le proiezioni dei filmati finalisti si terranno quindi in più sedi, secondo un calendario degli eventi comprendenti anche incontri e workshop.
I relativi indirizzi ed orari saranno resi noti sul sito VeniceLands FilmPrize appena sarà definito il calendario, ed una mappa con gli orari sarà a disposizione dei visitatori e del pubblico.
Il periodo delle proiezioni e del Festival è dal 09 al 14 luglio 2019.

Art. - 4 SEZIONI DEL CONCORSO
Il Festival Internazionale VeniceLands FilmPrize si compone di tre sezioni:
- CONCORSO INTERNAZIONALE. Sezione competitiva suddivisa in cinque generi di cortometraggi: Dramma, Commedia, Sociale, Fantasy, Documentario, riservata a tutti i partecipanti internazionali ma anche nazionali.
- PROFONDO NORD. Sezione competitiva di cortometraggi realizzati in Veneto, o di regista nato in Veneto, di qualsiasi genere e tema.
- FILM RESIDENZA. Sezione competitiva dedicata a chi si candidi per realizzare un cortometraggio nell'area dei Comuni sede del Festival. Dettagli al seguente punto 5).

Art. - 5 FILM RESIDENZA
■Nella sezione Film Residenza, un filmaker può candidarsi a realizzare un cortometraggio di narrazione o un documentario con l'obbligo di girare tutto il film nei limiti geografici che verranno dati, e che corrispondono all'area dei Comuni sede del Festival.
■Per iscriversi a questa sezione, invece di utilizzare il sito FilmFreeway si dovrà inviare, a mezzo dell'apposita pagina ►Film Residenza:
- Lettera del regista o produttore con i motivi dell'iscrizione.
- Curriculum Vitae del regista o produttore.
- Link a un'Opera Audiovisiva precedentemente realizzata (via Youtube, Vimeo, ecc. questo al solo scopo di permettere alla commissione di valutare le capacità tecnico-artistiche del candidato).
- Proposta di film in formato sceneggiatura o proposta di documentario che si vorrebbe realizzare.
■L'iscrizione va effettuata entro e non oltre le ore 24.00 del 30 marzo 2019.
■Tra tutti i candidati l'Organizzazione sceglierà a suo insindacabile giudizio uno o più filmaker che saranno invitati per un soggiorno di 5 notti 6 giorni a spese dell'Organizzazione, con trattamento di pernottamento e prima colazione. Durante i sei giorni ogni candidato dovrà realizzare un cortometraggio narrativo, o documentario, che andrà poi in concorso.
■La durata prevista, titoli compresi, è di minimo 5 massimo 10 minuti.
■Ai registi selezionati non verrà corrisposto alcun compenso o rimborso. Gli spostamenti in loco, compreso il viaggio di arrivo e partenza dalle sedi del concorso sono a carico dei partecipanti. Eventuali altri accompagnatori o assistenti dovranno sostenere per conto proprio le spese di soggiorno.
■Eventuali musiche utilizzate devono essere esenti SIAE e libere da diritti.
■Per le opere narrative, se concordato, l'Organizzazione può mettere a disposizione gratuitamente alcuni attori ed attrici non professionisti, ma il cast è a discrezione della produzione.
■Il lavoro montato e finito in ogni sua parte dovrà essere consegnato all'Organizzazione entro 30 giorni dalla fine del soggiorno in residenza, nei modi e nei tempi che saranno concordati, e comunque entro il 30 maggio 2019.
■La sezione “Film residenza” del Concorso può non tenersi se ci saranno meno di 10 partecipanti.

Art. - 6 REQUISITI
Le opere presentante devono essere realizzate in lingua italiana. Per le lingue diverse dall'italiano e per i dialetti è richiesta la sottotitolazione video in lingua italiana o inglese.
Lo stesso regista può presentare alla Prima Edizione del Festival Internazionale VeniceLands FilmPrize fino ad un massimo di tre differenti opere per le sezioni Concorso Internazionale e Profondo Nord.
Si accettano film della durata massima di 15 minuti titoli compresi, esclusa la sezione Film Residenza per la quale la durata è limitata a 10 minuti.
Il formato accettato è il 16:9 full HD - H264/MP4.

Art. - 7 ISCRIZIONE E PARTECIPAZIONE
L'iscrizione e la partecipazione al Festival ed al Premio è possibile unicamente attraverso la piattaforma online FilmFreeway al link che si trova sulla pagina ►Iscrizione , mentre per la sezione Film Residenza ci si iscrive dalla pagina ► Film Residenza.

Il regista o produttore/distributore e i protagonisti delle opere selezionate, nella fattispecie coloro i quali sono candidati ad un determinato premio, saranno invitati ad intervenire per un dibattito con i giurati, gli spettatori e i giornalisti presenti in sala al termine di ogni proiezione, o in appositi incontri o workshop programmati.

L’ordine, il calendario e gli orari di proiezione saranno decisi insindacabilmente dalla Direzione del Festival.

Art. - 8 SCADENZE
La compilazione del form elettronico per la partecipazione alla Prima Edizione del Festival Internazionale Venicelands FilmPrize, avviene esclusivamente tramite la piattaforma online FilmFreeway. La scadenza per l'iscrizione è il 30 aprile 2019.

Per la sola partecipazione alla selezione per FilmResidenza è il 30 marzo 2019.

La lista delle opere finaliste selezionate sarà resa nota sul sito VeniceLands FilmPrize, e su FilmFreeway, alla chiusura dei lavori della Giuria.

Art. - 9 GIURIE E PREMI
Tutti i premi sono attribuiti ad insindacabile ed inappellabile giudizio delle relative giurie.
I premi della Prima Edizione del Festival sono:
Premio migliore film drammatico.
Premio miglior film sociale.
Premio miglior film commedia.
Premio miglior film fantasia.
Premio miglior documentario.
Premio miglior attore.
Premio migliore attrice.
Premio miglior regia.
Premio migliore sceneggiatura.
I premi consistono in una targa. Premi in denaro saranno inoltre devoluti a:
Premio SPECIALE FILMPRIZE al migliore film assoluto, indipendentemente dal genere.
Premio SPECIALE DEL PUBBLICO. Votato dal pubblico in sala, tra tutti i film presentati.
Premio SPECIALE FILM-RESIDENZA.
Premio SPECIALE PROFONDO NORD.
Il valore del premio in denaro sarà pubblicato non appena sarà concordato con gli Sponsor della manifestazione, e visibile alla pagina ►Premi e Giurie assieme alla composizione delle Giurie stesse. Alcuni premi possono non essere attribuiti.
Il Premio Speciale FilmPrize viene consegnato al vincitore nella cerimonia di apertura del Festival.
Il Premio Speciale del Pubblico ed il Premio Speciale FilmResidenza, come tutti gli altri premi, vengono consegnati ai vincitori nella cerimonia di chiusura del Festival.
Salvo casi particolari decisi dalla Giuria, In caso di non presenza dei premiati alle cerimonie di premiazione i relativi premi saranno assegnati al nome seguente nella lista di merito delle premiazioni.

PRESENTATION

VeniceLands FilmPrize - International Prize and Film Festival is a widespread event, which takes place in a circuit of different venues and cities of the Province of Treviso.
FilmPrize brings cinema and film people directly in contact with the public, and vice versa the opportunity for those who do not know directly the ways and mechanisms of this art to get in touch with it. In particular, young people are thought to be able to draw from this event the incentive to try their hand in designing and making a film.
VeniceLands FilmPrize is a Festival and a Competition:
- A Festival in which national and international films can be watched, therefore people can come into contact with other realities and ways of thinking.
- A Competition with prizes, with a jury of professionals and a public jury; moreover, it is also a workshop in which the authors share with the public their way of making films.
Lastly, VeniceLands FilmPrize is also awards, presentations and participation of thousands of spectators.

Art - 1 ORGANIZATION
The VeniceLands FilmPrize Film Competition is created and managed by the AnonimaSognatori Cultural Association, which works in collaboration with the Municipal Administrations and with local companies. An important part of the Organization are the volunteers who allow the carrying out of the event with their work.

Art - 2 PURPOSES
VeniceLands FilmPrize is a film competition, a moment of cultural and social aggregation, a place for meetings and reflection, an educational experience.
In order to achieve these goals, participants are invited to take part at the festival, the award ceremonies, the meetings with the public and eventual workshop.
The scope of interest of the Festival is the circulation of short films, bringing them closer to the viewer, and spreading this medium of low-cost communication.

Art. - 3 VENUE AND PERIOD OF THE FESTIVAL
The first edition of VeniceLands FilmPrize is held in an area of the Province of which several municipalities belong, for a total of about 180,000 inhabitants.
The screenings of the finalist films will therefore take place in several venues, according to a calendar of events, including meetings and workshops as well.
The relative addresses and timetables will be announced on the VeniceLands FilmPrize website as soon as the calendar is defined, and a map with the timetable will be available to visitors and the public.
The period of the film screenings and of the Festival is from July 09th to 14th, 2019.

Art. - 4 COMPETITION’S SECTIONS
VeniceLands FilmPrize International Festival consists of three sections:
- INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION. Competitive section divided into five genres of short films: Drama, Comedy, Social, Fantasy, Documentary, reserved for all international but also national participants.
- DEEP NORTH. Competitive section of short films made in Veneto, or realized by a director born in Veneto, of any kind and theme.
- FILM RESIDENCY. Competitive section dedicated to those who apply to make a short film in the area of the Municipalities venues of the Festival. Details to the following point 5).

Art. - 5 FILM RESIDENCY
■In the Film Residency section, a filmmaker can apply to realize a narrative short film or a documentary with the obligation to shoot the film within the geographical limits that will be given, and which correspond to the area of the Municipalities venues of the Festival.
■To subscribe to this section, instead of using the FilmFreeway website, the following documents have to be sent, using the ►Film Residency page:
- Letter from the director or film producer with the statment for the inscription.
- Curriculum Vitae of the director or producer.
- Link to a previously produced video (via Youtube, Vimeo, etc., for the sole purpose of allowing the commission to evaluate the candidate's technical and artistic skills).
- Film proposal in screenplay format or documentary proposal the participant intends to realize.
■Registration must be made no later than midnight on March 30th, 2019.
■Among all the candidates the Organization will choose, at its sole discretion, one or more filmmakers who will be invited for a stay of 5 nights and 6 days at the expense of the Organization, with treatment of bed and breakfast. During those six days, each candidate will have to make a narrative short film, or documentary, which will then concur in the competition.
■The expected duration, including titles, is minimum 5 - maximum 10 minutes.
■The selected directors will not be paid any compensation or reimbursement. The displacements on site, including the journey of arrival and departure from the venues of the competition are charged to participants. Any other companion or assistant will have to pay their own expenses on their own account.
■Possible music used must be free royalty free.
■For narrative works, if agreed, the Organization can make available some non-professional actors and actresses free of charge, but the cast is at the discretion of the production.
■The videok, edited and finalized in all its parts, must be delivered to the Organization within 30 days from the end of the residency, in the ways and times that will be agreed, not over the May 30th 2019.
■The "Film residency" section of the competition may not take place if participants will be less than 10.

Art. - 6 REQUIREMENTS
The submitted videos must be realized in Italian language. For foreign languages and for dialects, video subtitling is required in Italian or English.
The same director can compete for the first edition of the VeniceLands FilmPrize with a maximum of three different videos, for the International and Deep North Competition sections.
Only videos with a maximum duration of 15 minutes including titles are accepted, excluding the Film Residency section, for which the duration is limited to 10 minutes.
The accepted format is 16: 9 full HD, - H264 / MP4.

Art. - 7 REGISTRATION AND PARTICIPATION
Registration and participation in the Festival and Prize is only possible via the FilmFreeway online platform at the link on the page ►Registration, while for the Film Residency section you can register from the ►Film Residency page.
The director or producer / distributor and the main characters of the selected works (those who are candidates for a specific prize), will be invited to intervene for a debate with the jurors, spectators and journalists present at the end of each screening, or during special scheduled meetings or workshops.
The sequence of screenings, the calendar and the opening hours will be unquestionably decided by the Festival Direction.

Art. - 8 DEADLINES
The registration for participation in the First Edition of the International Festival “VenicelandsFilmPrize”, can be filled out exclusively via the online platform FilmFreeway. The deadline for registration is April 30th, 2019.
For the sole participation in the selection for FilmResidency the deadline is March 30th, 2019.
The list of selected finalists will be announced on the VeniceLands FilmPrize website and on the FilmFreeway platform, at the end of the Jury's work.

Art. - 9 JURIES AND AWARDS
All prizes are attributed to the unquestionable and unappealable judgment of the related juries.
The prizes of the First Edition of the Festival are:
Best dramatic film award.
Best social film award.
Best comedy film award.
Best fantasy film award.
Best documentary award.
Best actor award.
Best actress award.
Best airector award.
Best screenplay award.
These prizes consist of an award plaque. Cash prizes will also be donated to:
FILMPRIZE SPECIAL AWARD for the best absolute film, regardless of genre.
AUDIENCE SPECIAL AWARD. Attributed by the spectators among all videos.
FILM-RESIDENCY SPECIAL AWARD.
DEEP NORTH SPECIAL AWARD.
The value of the cash prize will be published as soon as it will be agreed with the sponsors of the event, and visible on the page ►Jury and Prizes, together with the composition of the Juries themselves.
Some prizes may not be awarded.
The FilmPrize Special Award is assigned to the winner during the opening ceremony of the Festival.
The other Special Awards are assigned to the winners during the closing ceremony of the Festival.
Except in special cases decided by the Jury, in case of non-presence of the winners at the award ceremonies, the prizes will be assigned to the following name in the list of merit awards.
