Il Lucid Dream Festival sarà la tua guida e ti accompagnerà alla scoperta del cinema fantastico indipendente, in un viaggio su un mondo sospeso tra la veglia e il sogno.
Anche quest'anno, il festival dedicherà particolare attenzione al fantastico italiano e le produzioni indipendenti.
EDIZIONE 2024: FOCUS SULL'INTELLIGENZA ARTIFICIALE
Il tema di questa edizione è l’intelligenza artificiale.
Anche noi ci siamo chiesti “ma gli androidi sognano pecore elettriche?”
Il festival approfondirà questa tecnologia, interrogandosi su limiti, possibilità e minacce. La categoria "Lucid Dream" del concorso di cortometraggi sarà dedicata a opere che esplorano l'intelligenza artificiale come tema principale o che utilizzano immagini generate da essa.
LARGO A TUTTE LE SFUMATURE DEL FANTASTICO
Le altre categorie del concorso accoglieranno, come nelle precedenti edizioni, cortometraggi fantastici italiani e internazionali, spaziando dal fantasy all'horror, dalla fantascienza alle utopie e distopie, dal catastrofico alla storia alternativa, fino ai supereroi. La scelta dello stile narrativo è libera: live-action, animazione e qualsiasi altra forma espressiva.

Il Lucid Dream Festival è lieto di offrire ai filmmaker dei corti selezionati l'opportunità di presentarsi e presentare il proprio lavoro al pubblico del festival.
Questa è un'occasione per condividere la vostra storia, la vostra ispirazione e il vostro processo creativo con un pubblico attento e appassionato!
GIURIA DI ESPERTI
Le passate edizioni del festival hanno visto la partecipazione di giurati d'eccezione, come Lamberto Bava, docenti universitari e esperti del genere fantastico e di animazione. Per la prossima edizione, ci impegneremo a formare una giuria di pari livello, garantendo competenza e professionalità.

The Lucid Dream Festival will be your guide, leading you on a journey through independent fantastic cinema, in a world suspended between dream and reality.
Once again this year, the festival will focus on Italian fantastic cinema and independent productions.
2024 EDITION: FOCUS ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI)
The theme of this edition is artificial intelligence (AI). We too have asked ourselves, "Do androids dream of electric sheep?"
The festival will explore this technology, questioning its limits, possibilities, and threats. The "Lucid Dream" category of the short film competition will be dedicated to works that explore artificial intelligence as a main theme or that use AI-generated images.
EMBRACING ALL SHADES OF THE FANTASTIC
As in previous editions, the other categories of the competition will welcome Italian and international fantastic short films, ranging from fantasy to horror, from science fiction to utopias and dystopias, from catastrophe to alternative history, and superheroes. The choice of narrative style is free: live-action, animation, and any other expressive form.

A JURY OF EXPERTS
Past editions of the festival have seen the participation of exceptional jurors, such as Lamberto Bava, university professors, and experts in the fantastic and animation genres. For the next edition, we will strive to form a jury of equal standing, guaranteeing competence and professionalism.
